FESTIVAL OF TREES

For many people, Festival of Trees has become a

holiday tradition. Scheduled over six days during

the Thanksgiving week, Festival now attracts

approximately 18,000 people every year. Proceeds

from its twenty one previous years of operation

have exceeded all expectations, netting more than

$8.2 million in support of quality healthcare in our

community. This year we hope you will join us to help

build our Hospice House. This project will take the

support of the entire community

This PINK tree will tug at your heart strings. Every dollar raised will go to pay for Mammograms for those who cannot afford one. Early detection is the key and many women and also men, just simply cannot afford to pay for a mammogram. Through our primary care clinic at Cascade Health Solutions, every man or woman who cannot afford it, will have access to a free Mammogram. Each Mammogram costs $407. Eugene Pro Rodeo, thru the coordination of Jaymie Defoe Woods, raised over $8,000 this year and the Festival raised over $16,000. Help us help those who cannot help themselves.

AUCTION/SALE INFORMATIONEach tree, gift basket, stocking and wreath is an actual work of art and a one-of-a-kind creation. All are for sale during Festival, either by silent auction, live auction or straight sale. Please check below for specific information on how to make a purchase.

All items purchased at Festival must remain on display throughout the event. Check below for information on pick-up/delivery

SILENT AUCTIONThe majority of full-size and tabletop trees will be sold by silent auction, beginning Tuesday, November 25, at the Designers’ Preview Party and will close Friday night, November 28.

How To Participate

♦ Stop by the Information/Sales Table in the lobby to register for your official bid number. There is no cost. Proper identification is required.

♦ Bid sheets are displayed on music stands or clipboards in front of each tree.

♦ Each bid increase must at least equal the minimum increase stated on the bid sheet. In some cases, a minimum bid has been set.

♦ Bids may be increased at any time during the week. Bidding on the trees will close Friday night, by section beginning at 8:00 p.m., until everything is sold. The baskets will close on Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m.

♦ A guaranteed purchase price has been established for each silent auction tree. That price is noted at the tree. If you wish to purchase a tree outright, you may proceed directly to the Information/Sales Table and make payment for the stated price. The item will be marked sold for the duration of Festival.

LIVE AUCTION

Several full-size trees, along with a few other items, have been selected for sale at the live auction to be held Friday night. These items will be clearly marked “Live Auction.”

How To Participate

♦ Anyone wishing to bid on a live auction tree must be present at the Starlight Celebration Gala, by invitation only.

STRAIGHT SALE

Most stockings, gift baskets, wreaths will be available for straight sale beginning Tuesday night, November 25.

How To Participate

♦ You may purchase one of these treasures outright at the Information/Sales Table. The item will be marked “Sold.” Check below for pick-up/delivery.

PAYMENT

You may pay for any purchase by cash, check, VISA or MasterCard at the Information/Sales Table. Checks should be made payable to Festival of Trees.

DELIVERY/PICK-UP

♦ Full-size trees will be delivered (local only). PLEASE be sure to fill out the appropriate information when you pay for your tree.

♦ Tabletop trees, gift baskets, gingerbread houses must be picked up by the buyer between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 1st, unless other arrangements are made in advance. If this is inconvenient, or you have any questions, please talk to someone at the Information/Sales Table.

Cascade Health Foundation cannot take responsibility for the safekeeping of any item after we leave Valley River Inn. If items are not picked up by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 1st, you may risk forfeiting the item.
