VBS Volunteer Lunch: Would you like to join the fun and help make this year’s VBS the best ever? FreshHope Meeting Schedule: The FreshHope group has concluded meeting this spring and will resume in the fall after Labor Day. For more information, you may contact David Stone.

Wednesday Night Kids and Youth: Please note that the mid-week activities for kids and youth have concluded for this session. They will resume in the fall.

J.O.Y. Trip: The J.O.Y. group is heading to Blandwood Mansion in Greensboro this Wednesday, May 23. To reserve your FREE ticket, please contact Teresa Martin. We will leave the church at 10 a.m., go on the tour and then have lunch in Greensboro. Invite a friend to enjoy the day with us!

Blood Drive Volunteers Needed: Our blood drive will be next Sunday, May 27 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please consider how you would like to help. We are in need of volunteers to staff the canteen and help check in donors. If you can assist or want to learn more about blood donation, please contact Jessica Simandle at 336-401-2667.

Bring Your Sweet Tooth! On Sunday, June 3, Calvary’s BYW will sponsor a bake sale to raise funds for this summer’s youth mission trip to Belize. Cookies, brownies and other treats will be available in the hallway outside the Fellowship Hall between the Uplift service and Sunday School – and again between Sunday School and the Traditional service.

Summer Sermon Series and Bible Study: Pastor Alex will be preaching a summer sermon series on the Book of Revelation. However, because Revelation is too complex to cover in sermons alone, the series will be supplemented by a Bible study during the week. If you’d be interested in attending this study, please indicate the time that would work best for you in “The Church Space” on your bulletin tear-off. Study time options are Sunday evening (6:30), Tuesday morning (10:00) or Wednesday evening (6:30).
