Mrs. Roussell’s Classroom Newsletter May 2nd – May 6th

This Week’s AssignmentsReading –We will be working on some readers theater this week along with a short mystery lesson they will read for science with Mrs. Thurman.

Writing – We will be working on a poetry unit and the students will be writing their very own poetry book.

Math – We will be using this time to continue work on our Famous Missourians. Students will finish up speeches, work on their name poster for the wax museum, and I will be meeting with them to discuss props and costume.

Social Studies – We will be working on finishing up westward expansion and moving on to the Civil War.

Reminders to Parents

1. Remember to check the blog for new pictures and updates.2. Check your child’s assignment book nightly and ask them about their day at school.

Last Day of School: May 26th (Grade cards go home)
