Ceramic ballsCeramic balls are often an excellent choice for fine and ultra-fine grinding when a high purity product is required.

Our high-alumina content ceramic balls are typically used in applications where contamination from ferrous media cannot be tolerated for esthetic reasons, or where iron in a downstream extraction process inhibits recovery. Their extremely high hardness and complete resistance to most corrosive slurries provide for long service life in abrasive and chemically hostile environments. Metso ceramic balls are available in consistent sizing from 2 to 80 mm.

pigments, glazes, porcelain, china ware, etc.
