v Take  a  note  of  any  settings  you  change.  

v Only  change  the  items  specified.  

v These  instructions  are  only  for  Max  Bulk  Mailer  6.x  /  7.x  /  8.x.  

Ø Load  Max  Bulk  Mailer  by  clicking  on  the  desktop  icon:  

Ø Select  the  'Settings'  tab  

Ø Change  the  'SMTP  Host'  server  to  the  one  in  the  email  sent  to  you  when  your  account  was  setup,  append  'retail.smtp.com:2525'  (or  port  25,  2082)  

Ø Change  the  'Connections'  option  to  '3'  

Ø Changed  'Authentication'  to  'ESMTP'  

Ø In  the  second  drop-­‐down  menu  next  to  'Authentication'  to  'MD5  Challenge-­‐Response'  

Ø Enter  your  SMTP.com  sender  username  and  password  in  the  'Account  ID'  field  

Ø Tick  'Delivery'  so  that  messages  are  sent  'Singly'  

Ø In  the  drop-­‐down  for  'Group  mails'  select  'All  at  once'  

 

     

Ø To  save  the  settings  click  the  'Save'  button  at  the  top  of  the  tab  

Ø Enter  a  name  for  the  service,  we  recommend  'SMTP.com'  

Ø Click  'Create':  

 

Ø You  should  now  see  that  it  has  saved  all  of  your  settings  as  an  SMTP  profile:
