Whatfollowsisabrief overviewof thesameoldevidencesprovidedbythesoofeebareilweesintheiranimosityandhatredfor the glorious Sunnahof theMessenger of Allaah (SallalahuAlayheeWasallam) and in their fervent desire to innovate andspreadmisguidanceamongstthemasses,allintheirfalseloveof theMessengerof Allaah(SallalahuAlayheeWasallam).

We have also highlighted such innovations are a directcensureontheMessengerof Allaah(SallalahuAlayheeWasallam)himself andalsouponthenoblecompanions,asthisinnovationof celebrating his birthday, commonly known as the Mawlidun-Nabawi under the false pretence of loving the Prophet(SallalahuAlayheeWasallam)entailsthatheneverinformedhiscompanionsandtheummahof thispractiseif itreallywassuchagreatlybenefittingandrewardingpracticeastheinnovatorsclaim.Furthermore it is also a censureon the companionsbecause itentails theywerenegligent of suchapractisethatwouldhavecarriedgreatreward.Suchideologiesandthoughtsonlyemanate



fromthecursedraafidhahshee’ah.

This also seems to be handiwork of Asraar SoofeeBareilweeRasheedandanotheroneof thischildishandwishfulclaimstofameandwannabescholarship.Inrealitywhatisextremelyamusingandhilariousisthatthepeopleof innovationandtheircallerslikeAsraarSoofeeBareilweeWahdatulWajoodeeRasheedhavejustcutandpastedthesameargumentsagainandagainandsothereisnothingnewbythewayof evidencesoranythingacademicorscholarlyintellecualismbutratherthesameoldhowlingcryof “IwannabefamousandIwantadebatedebatedebate”whereasheisjustlostinhisbewilderedandconfusedstateandmind.

Thereality is, if hehadanysoundknowledgeor if hewasapersonwhohadthecapabilitytolookattheevidenceswithaviewto followthehaqq, then thatwouldbeadifferentstoryalltogetherbutthetruthis,hisactionsclearlydictatethathejustwantstobefamousandhencethereforeaclearsigninjustwantingtoshowoff.Yetwhocantellhiscompanionsandhisfollowers,whoareunawareof hisknowledge.Thelikesof BareilweeAsraar,whojustaboutmanagestoputanarabicsentencetogetherwillnodoubtbe anAllaamah and a schoalr amongst thebareilweesoofeemasseswhoaremesmerisedbyhisAlif andBaa.

lastly Asraar the Bareilwee in his desire to be famousandwantingtoshowoff,isfurthersupportedbythefactthatinordertoachievehisgoalhehasevenrefutedandopenlywarnedagainst his “Teacher”Mr Iqbaal Shaamee just in order to getsomelimelight.ThisindividualAsraarSoofeeBareilweeRasheed



isjustayoungboywithadesireandwishtobefamousandshowoff,onaccountof howling‘debatedebatedebate.’

SeedearreadershowcanaSunniwhofollowsthewayof AhlusSunnahWal-Jama’ah,thecompanions,thetaabieen,thetabaatabieen,thefourImaamsaswellasallthegreatImaamsandScholarsof hadeethandFiqh,UsoolFiqh,Ahlur-Rayyand theAhlulHadeethanswersuchaclaimbecausethehadeethistalkingaboutsomethingelseandMrAsraaristakingsomenextmeaning.

Sowheredoesthishadeethof SaheehMuslimmentionthechristmas lightsorthediscolightsonyourwindows,wheredoes itmentionyourmarchesontheroadsandyour innovatedprocessions,wheredoesitmentionthegreenflags,wheredoesitmentionyourdancing,singing,musicandQawwalees.Ohwhatashock,thishadeethdoesnotmentionsuchpracticesandacts.Sowefindthesesoofeebareilweesdoexactlywhatthechristiansdoatchristmas,with theirchristmas lights, turkeys, food,wine,alcohol,bhangradancingsoonandsoforth.

At the verymost this hadeethmentions only 2 pointsof importance,thefirstthattheMessengerof Allaah(SallalahuAlayhee Wasallam) was born on a Monday, okay thats fineMashallaahExcellent.ThesecondpointisthatheusedtofastontheMonday.

OhyousoofeeKhurafeeBareilweesthenwhydontyouguysfastontheMonday,whyareyougobbingeveryediblethinginyourfathalwa,ghiyarweericefilledbellies.YouseetheseBareilweeseventheirMullahsfaggingoff andjustenjoyingthemselveswiththefoodanddrink.IsthiswhatyoucallfastingonaMondays?



Lookat these ignorantdeduction,so theMessengerof Allaah(SallalahuAlayheeWasallam),theImaamof MankindfastedontheMondayasitwashisbirthdaybutlookastheseGustaakhstheygoonandsay“ohthisisanevidenceforMawlid.”Anysoundandintelligentindividualwillrealisethereisnocorrelationbetweenthe two. furtheremore fasting is about patience, humility andworshipandthetypeof Mawlidthesesoofeebareilweescelebrateisfarfromsuchettiquetes.Rather,whatyouwillfindisthatallof theseMawlidgatheringsandthecelebrationstheyindulgein,arewellfarfromtheteachingsof theMessengerof Allaah(SallalahuAlayheeWasallam)andhencethisisagreatGustakheebythesesoofeebareilwees.

Lastly, did theMessengerof Allaah (SallalahuAlayheeWasallam)fastontheMondayonlybecauseitwashisbirthday?Nohe alsoused to fastonMondaysbecauseonMondaysourdeedsarepresentedtoAllaah.

ShaikhMuhammadMuneerQammarsaid,“Itistrue,theMessenger of Allaah (SallalahuAlayheeWasallam) used to fastonMondaysbutonemustrememberhealsomentionedfastingon Thursdays in the very same hadeeth.HenceAbuDawood,Tirmidhee, Nasaa’ee (Authenticated by Ibn Hibbaan) that theMessengerof Allaah(SallalahuAlayheeWasallam)usedtotrytofastonMondaysandThursdays.

Whereas the hadeeth in Nasaa’ee and Abu Dawood(authenticatedbyIbnKhuzaimah)statestheMessengerof Allaah(SallalahuAlayheeWasallam)uponthequestioningof Usaamah



ibn Zaid (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) informed him that the affairsanddeedsof mankindarepresentedtoAllaahonMondaysandThursdays and I like thatmy affairs are presentedwhilst I amin a state of fasting. (Riyaadh us-Saaliheen (pg.488-489), withtheverificationof al-Arnaa’ootandalsoinSaheehMuslimwithNawaweesexplanation(4/8/51)

The same reason has been mentioned in the hadeethconcerning the fasting on Mondays and Thursdays from thehadeethof SaheehMuslimandTirmidhee.Anotherhadeethof Muslim mentions the Messenger of Allaah (Sallalahu AlayheeWasallam) said concerning the fastingonMondays thathewasbornonthisdayandthesamedayrevelationscametome.

ThishadeethclearlyshowtherealreasonforfastingonMondaysandThursdayswasduetoouractionsanddeedsbeingpresentedtoAllaahonthesedays.Theadditionalreasonwasalsothat theMessengerof Allaah (SallalahuAlayheeWasallam)wasbornonMonday.Thequestionhereisif thefastingonMondaywasjustreallyduetohisbirthdaythenhewouldhaveonlyfastedonMondaysandnotfastedonThursdays.

Furthermoreif thisfastingwasduetohisbirthdaythenhewouldhavejustfastedonthatoneMondayandnoteveryweekaswashisroutine.ThereforesomeonewhotrulylovestheMessengerof Allaah(SallalahuAlayheeWasallam)shouldalsoalwaysfasteveryMondayandThursdaywhichistheSunnahof theMessengerandnotindulgeininnovations.Inthesamemanneroneshouldnotdistortandmanipulatethemeaningsof theahadeethinorderto



proveandestablishhisinnovationandinsteadof fastingapersongoesaroundinvitingpeopletogatheringsof foodanddrink inthenameof celebratingtheMawlid.

Similarly it is not proven from the Prophet (SallalahuAlayheeWasallam)thatheeverfastedoneitherthethe9thorthe12thof Rabeeul-Awwalwhichwashisdateof birth.

Therefore if aperson fastson thisdayeveryyearwiththe intentionof seeking reward thisnecessitates surpassing theProphet(SallalahuAlayheeWasallam)intheSharee’ahandweseekrefugeinAllaahfromsuchathoughtthattheProphetsSharee’ahwasincompleteandlackingsomething.

YesthatsallthatyoudoandthatisJUSTTAKENOTICEyoudontponderorthink,youdontresearch,youdontlookattheotherahadeethorreconcilebetweenthem(ieTatbeeq)asif youguysareallergictothetruthyetyoualwayshavetimetonotice,foronceinyourlivestrytothinklogicallyandusesomerational,butthenwerecalltheverseof AllaahtheMostHighinwhichhementionshowaMushriklacksintelligenceandcomprehension.



So what are the exact words of Haafidh Ibn Hajr al-Asqaalaanee, dear readers as you can see the hadeeth and theallegedstatementof HaafidhIbnHajrseemstohavebeenmixedup.

Yetagaindearreadersyoufindthereisnodirectorclearcorrelationandunderstandingof thishadeethinrelationtothecustomary practise of theMawlid. It is outright shocking andworryingthatsuchwannabedebatersandthenextgreatAllaamahand his soofee forefathers have utilised such inconclusive andirrelavantnarrationsinrelationtotheMawlid.Thisisnotinneedof anylenghtyexplanationorresearch.

ShaikhMuhammadMuneerQammarsaidinhistreatiseinanswerof thispoint,“Thinkaboutthisforaminutewhatatrivialcrooked thought this is. So theMessenger of Allaah (SallalahuAlayheeWasallam)fastedandalsoorderedustodothesame,yetthesepeopleratherthanfastingpreparefoodontheirtables,listentoQawwaleesanddance,weseekrefugeinAllaahfromallof this.

TheMessenger of Allaah (SallalahuAlayheeWasallam)fastedon thedayof Ashoorabutnothinghasbeencitedfromhimconcerninghisownbirthday (ie fastingonhisbirthdayordoingotherthings)sorather thansurpassingtheMessengerof Allaah(SallalahuAlayheeWasallam)weshouldfollowandobeyhim,notinfastingnorinidlefutilethings.

In addition to our point above, the Quraish used to



fast thedayof Ashoora anyway andmaybe they extracted thisfromaprevious sharee’ah just like respecting the4monthsof unlawfulnessandperformingHajj.Wealsohaveevidenceof thepeoplefastingduringtheageof ignoranceinSaheehal-Bukhaari(4/244withFath)andSaheehMuslim(7/5withNawawee).

AsforthehadeethwhichmentionswhentheMessengerof Allaah(SallalahuAlayheeWasallam)madeHijrahtoMadeenahheobservedthejewsfastingandhenceheaskedthemconcerningit.Sotheyinformedhimthatitwasduetothesalvationof Moosaa(Alayhis Salaam) andwe observe this fast as a thanking.UponwhichtheMessengerof Allaah(SallalahuAlayheeWasallam)saidIhavemore right thanyouuponMoosaa (AlayhisSalaam)andhencehealsofastedandorderedotherstodothesame.

QaadheeA’yyaadhsaidsomebeneficialwordsconcerningthis, “The Messenger of Allaah (Sallalahu Alayhee Wasallam) did not initiate this fast (upon hearing it from the jews) rather it is authentically established from a hadeeth in the books of Saheeh and Sunan from Ai’shah (RadhiAllaaha Anha), “The Quraish used to also fast in the days of ignorance (on this day).”

ImaamQurtubeesaid,“It is possible the Quraish fasted due to some ruling or command based on the religion of Ibraheem and the fasting of the Messenger of Allaah (Sallalahu Alayhee Wasallam) on the same day may have been due to similarities of the abrahamic faiths, for instance the Hajj. So when he saw the jews fasting he also fasted due to the longing of his heart and he also ordered us to do the same. So no command prohibits this and so both groups of people (ie Muslims and the jews) fast on the same day



due to differing reasons.” (Fordetails refer toFathul-BaareeSharhSaheehBukhaariof HaafidhIbnHajr(4/248)

Shaikh Muhammad Muneer Qammar goes onto say,“No doubt the sending of theMessenger of Allaah (SallalahuAlayheeWasallam)isindeedagreatblessinganditisalsocorrecttoappreciateandthankAllaahforsuchagreatblessing.Yetthequestionhereis,wheredoesitsaythatinordertothankAllaahweneedtoorganiseprocessionalmarches,gatherings,withdancingandlisteningtomusicandQawwalees?

Furthermoredidthecompanions,thesuccessorsortheImaams, infactdidtheMessengerof Allaah(SallalahuAlayheeWasallam)thankAllaahinsuchawayormanner.If thisisnotthecase,thenwhogaveustheauthoritytodosuchthingsinthisway.Yetagainif thisisthecasewewillhavetocloseourbusinessesandabandonoutprofessionsinordertoorganisegatheringsandprocessionseverydaytothankAllaahforallthegreatblessingshehasbestoweduponus.Howcanweenumeratehisblessingsandfavoursuponus.

AllaahTheMosthighhimself hassaid,

“And if you should count the favours of Allah , you could not enumerate them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.” (Soorah an-Nahl:18)



Andhissaying

“And He gave you from all you asked of Him. And if you should count the favor of Allah, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, mankind is [generally] most unjust and ungrateful.” (Soorah Ibraaheem:34)

If onewastoreallyadoptthePropheticwayof thankingAllaahthenaMuslimshoulddothiseverydayconstantlyandnotonceayear.Ponderandtakeheed.

Stillnoticingbutnocomprehension.



Shaikh Muhammad Muneer Qammar said, “First and foremost it is important to understand the meaning of Aqeeqah. Imaam Ibn Qudaamah writes, “Aqeeqah is that which is sacrificed on behalf of a child and it has also been said the food that is prepared in relation to the joyous occasion of a childs birth is also known as Aqeeqah.”(al-Mughnee(9/458)of IbnQudaamah)

He also said according to our school of thought it isSunnahtosacrificeananimalonthe7thdayafterthebirthof achildandif thisisnotpossiblethenonthe14thoronthe21stday ashasbeen transmitted fromAi’shah (RadhiAllaahuAnha)(al-Mughnee(9/461)of IbnQudaamah)

As for the individual who reached and passed theadolescentstageandhisAqeeqahhadnotbeendone,thenthereisdifferenceof opinionconcerningthiswhetherheshoulddotheAqeeqahforhimself ornot.

Soforinstanceif wedotakeuptheclaimof theproponentsof MawlidthenAqeeqahonlyneedstobedoneonceinalifetimeandthereaftertheneedforanyfurtherAqeeqahstops.Thereforedoing theAqeeqah every year is not established by anymeanshence it is not even established once after Nabuwwah if theMessengerof Allaah (SallalahuAlayheeWasallam)everdid thisletalonehiswholelifesowhatbasisdoestheclaimof himdoingthishiswholelifehave.

As for the narration that has been transmitted that



mentionstheMessengerof Allaah(SallalahuAlayheeWasallam)didhisownAqeeqahafterhavinggiventheNabuwwah,HaafidhIbnHajrAsqaalaanee said thisnarrationof Musnadal-Bazzaaris not authentically established as ImaamBazzaar himself said,Abdullaah the narrator who narrated this report was alone inreportingitandheisalsoweak.

He further said, ImaamAbdurRazzaaq, the author of theMusannaf said “The scholars of hadeeth have rejected taking the narrations of Abdullaah bin Muharrar just on the basis of him narrating this report. Meaning Abdullaah bin Muharrar damaged his trustworthiness just on account of narrating this narration alone. Therefore how can any deduction or elucidation be correct from such a report.” (refertoFathul-Baaree(12/12)

Seriouslyyouarekiddingus,wehadonlyreadinbooksandheardfromourschoalrsthattheycelebrateMawlidbasedonadreamof adisbelieverwhowaspromisedtheHellfirebyAllaahtheMostHighhimself!!!!!!!Whatkindof aMuslimusesthedreamof amushrikpolytheisticdisbeleiverwhohasbeenpromisedthefireof hellforeverasevidence?Onlytheonewhois.......

ShaikhMuhammadMuneerQammarsaid,“Theremanyreasonswhy it is incorrect to use this story as an evidence forestablishingmilaad.

(1)thereisaconsensusof allscholarsthatthedreamof otherthantheprophetscannotbeutilisedasanevidence,fortheprophetsdreamsarebywayof revelation.

(2)TheonereferredtoisitthecompanionAbbaasbinAbdul Muttalib or someone else? Then the one who reportsfromhimdoessobymursalformanditisknownthatthemursalnarrationcannotbeusedaspartof establishingAqeedah.(indeedaccordingtothescholarsmursalnarrationcannotbeutilisedasstandaloneevidencesinmattersotherthanAqeedahalsosuchasAhkaamandrulings).

(3)Evenif itwasAbbaasthenit ishighlypossiblethathe saw thedreambeforehe accepted Islaamsocan someone’sdreamwhohasnotyetacceptedIslaambetakenasanevidenceinthereligion?Bearinmindthatevenif oneisabelieverthenhisdreamsarenotanevidenceinthedeen(exceptprophets)never



mindapersonwhohasnotyetacceptedIslaam!

(4)Most scholarshavestated that if apersondiesasanonbelieverthenhisactionswillbeof nobenefittohimatall.Thisiscorrect.

“And We will regard what they have done of deeds and make them as dust dispersed.” (Soorah al-Furqaan:23)

And

“Those are the ones who disbelieve in the verses of their Lord and in [their] meeting Him, so their deeds have become worthless; and We will not assign to them on the Day of Resurrection any importance.” (Soorah al-Kahf:105)

Soitisclearfromtheabovetwoversesthattheonewhodiesasadisbelieverthennodeedof hisshallheberewardedfororhaveanybenefitof.

Further it is mentioned in a hadeeth that “Ai’shah (RadhiAllaahu Anha) asked about Abdullah ibn Jadaan (who died as a non believer) who would slaughter 1000 camels in charity every hajj, who would clothe 1000 people every hajj and even allowed the use of his house to the prophet, Would any of these action be of benefit to him? The prophet replied no for he never once in his life sought the forgiveness of Allaah for



his sins (disbelief) on the day of judgemen.t”(al-Insaaf of al-Jazaa’iree(pg.41).

ThusitisclearthatthedreamconcerningAbulahaboranyof hisdeedswouldnotbenefithim.

(5)Thehappinessof AbuLahabwasanaturalhappiness(thathisbrotherhadachild)ratherthenhappinessforthesakeof Allaahaspartof worship.Soanyactionthatisnotforthesakeof Allaah aspartof worshiphowcanonebe rewarded for it?Sofromthisangleonecanalsoseethefutilityandfallacyof thisevidence.

(6) A believer is always happy at the existence of hisprophet. So to innovate Milaad once a year to celebrate theprophetsbirthdayinordertoveneratehisexistenceisfarfetched.

Inessencethosewhoplaywithtextsusetheseevidenceswhichhavenobearingontheinnovationsthattheypractice.
