We used the internet and TV to look at similar products aimed at a similar audience.

We watched an episode of ‘30 Rock’ and loved the idea of making a parody.

Audience FeedbackFor my audience feedback, the class got together to watch everybody's rough cuts of their trailers. Therefore, this meant that once your feedback was obtained, you can then go away and improve it for your final finished product.

“Great storyline”“Works great, fitting the parody genre”

“The scream should be moved until after the scene of Chandelier and Rhino”“Excellent camerawork”

“Would be great if you could get the hand hitting the door on the beat of the soundtrack”

“Maybe use a song with less lyrics, allowing to concentrate and hear key scenes”

“Cut the shots quicker during the fight”

Audience Feedback

By editing the soundtrack in iMovie, I made the dramatic instrumental of the power ballad begin as ‘Rhino’s’ hand hits the door.

I also edited the fight scene cutting each camera angle faster and then switching between the two. This therefore created the frantic and realistic atmosphere.

E4 title card needed to be faster paced. Also should include a link to other social media, accessing the parody in a different way.

The effects on the title card were made a lot quicker, making the trailer flow a lot faster at the end.
