2. Mathematical lesson made easy
This presentation shows a teacher in the elementary class how to teach kids how to do math with hand on labs.
Show children how to do something and they will remember forever.
You could substitute any item for the counting pieces that you have on hand.
3. ADDITION
2+2=4
20+20=40
200+200=400
How can a pencil show a student how to do addition?
4. 1,2 how many pencils
To Begin count out the number of pencils in the first set. (7 pencils)
Next count the number of pencils in the second set. (6 pencils)
Lastly count all the pencils together to get the total number of pencils. (13 pencils)
This can be accomplished using any number of pencils in the two groups.
5. Subtraction
2-2=0
28-13=15
1202-400=802
How can a butterflies show a student how to do subtraction?
6. 1,2 how many butterflies
To Begin count out the number of butterflies in the first set. (9 butterflies)
Next count the number of butterflies in the second set. (3 butterflies) Cover 3 butterflies from the first group.
Lastly count all the butterflies left in the first group to get the total number of butterflies. (6 butterflies)
This can be accomplished using any number of butterflies in the two groups.

How can a pencils show a student how to do multiplication?
4x4=16
9. 1,2 how many pencils
First count out the number of pencils in each set. (4 pencils), then count how many sets you have.
Next count the total number of pencils in the all the set. (16 pencils)
Observe how 4 groups of 4 pencils is the same as 4x4. (16 pencils)
This can be accomplished using any number of butterflies in the two groups.
10. Division
May not be simple can still be fun

11. 1,2 how many pencils
Bring in a pizza big enough for your whole class to have a slice.
Challenge the kids to divide the total cost of the pizza by the total number of slices to get the cost per slice.
When the students all get the right number they get to eat the pizza
This can be accomplished using any item that can be a prize to the students.
