Topics include systems of linear equations, polynomial division and special products, factoring, rational expressions, radical expressions, quadratic equations, functions and application problems. Emphasis on math study skills. Technology is used to enhance thinking and understanding, to solve problems and to judge/verify results. Verbal, numerical, graphical and symbolic approaches assist in the discovery and communication of mathematical concepts. Course does not satisfy any course or elective requirement, regardless of academic major. 3 Credits (2 Lecture - 3 Lab) Prerequisite(s): MTH005 or Placement by Examination.
