Daniel Atkins is a local product of Albion Park who the Albion Park White Eagles Football Club hopes is destined for bigger things. Daniel was almost thrown into the lofty heights of the Indonesian Premier League before a technicality cost him a spot at Persiraja due to a "Division 1 - A-League rule".

Daniel picked up the two major club awards in 2011, the Players Player and Player of the Year awards and managed to score 9 goals from midfield.
