Battery back up and voltage stabilisationAs well as providing back up power from the battery when the mains fails, the UPS filters the mains during normal operation, regulating the incoming voltage

Optimised Sinewave Output The output waveform is sinusoidal with a linear load, and with a crest load is slightly flattened. This avoids high current peaks on the electronics and the battery, and still provides high efficiency.
This is the optimal solution between sinewave and stepwave UPS outputs. Stepwave UPS can cause some electronic equipment to malfunction.

At 165-275V (500-1500VA) and 140-305V (2200 & 3000VA), the output voltage is limited to 190-254V. This minimises the need for battery use, extending battery life

The UPS keeps running in normal operation over the test, rather than switching to battery. If the battery is damaged or empty, the load is still supported
