Whilst made from natural quartz materials, quality control processes mean that Caesarstone® slabs have a very consistent dispersion of chip (pattern) and colour variation.

In tests of flexural strength, impact strength, and water absorption, Caesarstone came out the clear winner against natural stone.

Caesarstone does not require sealing. Surface damage can sometimes be repaired by a trained Caesarstone fabricator.

Wall LiningsNon-porous, waterproof, mould and mildew resistant, Caesarstone® quartz surfaces are ideal for kitchen splashbacks and bathroom wall linings. Large slabs provide a sleek and modern aesthetic, minimising joins and maintenance.

High Style, Low MaintenanceCaesarstone’s polished quartz surfaces never need sealing and require very little maintenance to keep them looking like new. The hard, non-porous surface makes cleaning simple. In most cases, soap and water or a mild detergent are all that are required to maintain its lustre.Please understand that the concrete finish will require more daily care and maintenance than our polished finish.

It is also important to understand that like all materials dark colours show marks and smears more readily than light colours.

For extra-stubborn spills we recommend using Caesarstone® Cream Cleanser, which is detailed in our Care and Maintenance guide.

Note: 1. All gas appliance installations must comply with AS/NZS S601.1: Gas Installations. 2. All electric cook top installations must be in accordance with the cook top manufacturer’s instructions.

Splashback compliance. Formica® laminate is suitable to use as a splashback behind electric and gas cook tops. The following distances must be adhered to:

Electric cook top: Formica® laminate can be used as a splashback material behind an electric cook top provided that it is kept at a distance of at least 100mm from the periphery of the nearest heating element.

Gas cook top: Formica® laminate can be used as a splashback material behind a gas cook top provided that it is kept at a distance of at least 200mm from the periphery of the nearest gas ring.

Rolled edge. Formica® laminate can be rolled to a minimum radius of 8mm for solid colours and 4.5mm for stones, abstract patterns and woodgrains*. The tighter radius for stone patterns allows for a similar look and finish to a stone benchtop. Popular for kitchen benchtops, a rolled edge provides a clean, consistent look with no joins, is cost effective, and extremely hardwearing with good chip and impact resistance. It is also ideal for environments where pointed edges need to be avoided or impact with the body might occur.

Square edge is made by clashing the benchtop edge with a piece of the same laminate to create a true square edge. A traditional Formica® laminate look, a dark line will be visible on lighter colours.

Acrylic edgetape is available to match selected colours from the Formica® 180fx® laminate range. Complimenting the high gloss stone decors, acrylic edgetape creates a greater depth of colour and with the décor being printed on the back of the edgetape protects the décor and colour on the edge from damage.
