The child’s Birth Certificate is necessary at the time of registration. Godparents must each present a Sponsor Certificate, signed by a priest of the Church they attend, stating that they are practicing Catholics & meet all Sponsor Requirements: AGE 16 OR OLDER CONFIRMED MARRIED IN THE CHURCH (if married) CONSISTENTLY ATTENDING CHURCH (Sundays & Holydays) Baptism dates cannot be scheduled until the SPONSOR CERTIFICATES are handed in.
