In the name of ALLAH, The Most Beneficent & Merciful. Dear Alumni Brother, Assalam-wa- Alaikum Wa Rehmatullahi Wa Barkatahu. It is to state that Masjid-e-Umar Farooque (RA) is run by registered society (with Charity Commissioner Yavatmal, Vide Letter no MH/542/04/YTL and with Maharashtra Waqf Board, Aurangabad Vide letter No. MSBW/REG.CER/6208/2005). The need for the Masjid was arising since the establishment of B.N. College of Engineering, Karla Road, Taluka. Pusad( Dist.) Yavatmal in the year 1983. As there was no Masjid nearby College premises and shariah does not permit to offer Juma without Masjid where five times prayer (Namaz) is offered. The Muslim students and staff used to travel 03 km from the area of College to Pusad city for offering Juma prayer (Namaz) and Ramadaan Taraweeh during the month of Ramadaan. Hence, with the grace of Allah, in the year 1999, the Muslim students & staff purchased a plot admeasuring around 3500 sq. feet nearby College premises and constructed “Masjid” (temporary structure of wood) and salah (Namaz) started to offer on all five times regularly since then. With the pious intentions of future expansion, adjacent plot admeasuring around 2600 sq. feet was purchased in year 2005. The total area currently in possession comes out to be around 6600 sq. feet. During the communal riots of 2009, the entire wooden structure of Masjid was burnt by anti-social elements. Later, it was reconstructed with Tin materials. After the riots, all Muslim inhabitants of this area have migrated to Pusad city. Thus offering salah (Namaz) in Masjid after College office hours is dependent only on the students residing nearby Masjid. The students are also finding difficulty in getting rooms from Non-Muslims. Hence, it is decided by the committee to construct a mini hostel with an intake capacity of 10 students, in the first phase. The rooms so constructed will be allotted to the students on nominal rent charges, equivalent to yield cost of routine maintenance charges of hostel. This will eventually serve our sole purpose of offering salah (Namaz) on its proper times daily. Inn shaa Allah, this plan, will surely provide impetus to enhance Islamic values in their life. The total estimated cost of proposed construction plan comes out to be around Rs. 7 Lakh as per building plan and quotation sheet from B.K.Constructions Pusad. The construction of above said proposed plan is under process. The total expenses incurred so far is around Rs. 1,50,000/- which has been collected from College Staff & local donators. The Masjid committee members (mostly from the College staff) request you to contribute to this noble cause. We hope, you being the Muslim student of B.N.

appreciated and would be a supporting hand for a noble cause. The donation
will help you in this world and the world hereafter. Inn shaa Allah, ALLAH
