MUROC Background

MUROC is an affiliate company of Mashhad Municipality established in 2005 The company currently operates 1 urban railway lines of 24 Km With inauguration of line 1, Mashhad became the second city of Iran which entered railway

transportation system In February 2th, The 4.5 Km extension of line 1 with 2 station(including HashemiNezhad

international airport) Was inaugurated and Mashhad Became the first Iranian city which connect it’s railway lines to it’s Airport.

Mashhad won UITP regional Award for customer service in May 2013 only after two and a half years of revenue service.
