Masalababy SS16 Lookbook Retail

I am most defi nitely inspired by INDIA over and

over again! Its landscapes, architecture, color,

food, and surrounding neigbors - I am always

trying to soak it all in! Maldives are my

muse this season! Located just south of the

Indian subcontinent, Maldives are a gorgeous

chain of islands. The beauty of crystal blue

waters, white sandy beaches, and the relaxed

lifestyle infl uenced by India, Thailand, and the

Middle East provided the creative spark for this

season. The sights and sounds of nature and

palm trees from dawn to dusk create a wonderful

palette of radiant colors that have become a

Masala Baby signature for Spring and Summer.

Join us on our journey from Maldives to

Jaipur, the Pink City of India. This city never

ceases to inspire me! From the pink stone

architecture with fi ligreed archways to the

courtyards of its glamorous past, there is no

shortage of inspiration! The city’s colourful

and chaotic streets are a heady mix of old and

new. Our Pink City collection showcases the

fun of quirky block print inspired patterns and

magically colored ikats and embroideries for

chic beach days or urban summer evenings.
