CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. The Entry Form and the Non–refundable Entry Fee ($40.00 incl GST) must be received by the Marymount Art

Show Committee by 6 August 2018. Entries received after this date will not be accepted

2. The Entry Fee includes one (1) ticket to the “Opening and Announcement of Winners’ Night” on Friday 24

August 2018, commencing at 7:00pm. This can be collected when the Artworks are delivered. Extra tickets

may also be purchased at this time for $30.00

3. Art Work must have been produced after January 2017 and not been awarded a prize at a previous

exhibition.

4. A maximum of three (3) artworks may be submitted with a total hanging space of 2.4m x 1.4m. The number

of artworks and/or hanging space allowed may be increased at the discretion of the Marymount Art Show

Committee. Please contact artshow@marymount.qld.edu.au with any queries.

5. Entries must be identified on the back or base of the artwork with the Artists name, and mobile number. The

Artwork’s Title, Category and Price.

6. Entries MUST be ready to be hung or displayed. 2D works must have a sturdy, secure chord strung across the

back of the work at approximately one third from the top and be able to be hung from one hook.

7. Winners will be notified prior to Opening Night and are expected to attend the Prize Presentation Event.

8. All Artworks must be for sale and a 33.3% commission will apply to any sales from the Exhibition. That is:

Artists will receive 66.7% of the nominated sales price for any work sold. This will be paid by direct deposit to

the Artist during the week following the Exhibition.

9. It is intended that all Artwork submitted will be exhibited. However, the Marymount Art Show Committee

reserves the right to withhold artwork from the display.

10. Artists will permit their exhibited Artworks to be reproduced by print and electronic media in the advertising

and promotion for the Marymount Art Show and for the exhibition catalogue.

11. All Artwork must be made available for display for the full duration of the Exhibition. That is - until 3:00pm

Sunday 26 August 2018.

12. All care will be taken, however, the Marymount Art Show Committee will not be responsible for any loss or

damage of Artworks. Insurance is the responsibility of the Artist

13. The Judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
