St. Patrick A teenage Patrick was captured by

pirates and sold as a slave in Ireland. Six years later, he returned home.

After becoming a priest, Patrick workedin England. Yet, he wanted to return to

Ireland. In time, the Pope made hima Bishop and sent him to Ireland as amissionary. Though it was not easy,

Patrick planted the seeds of Faith in a pagan land by his example, preaching,

and gift of miracles.
