June 5-9—Vacation Bible School, 9 a.m.-noon, registration begins May 1. Aug. 1-4—Explore East Texas Day Camp, 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m., second- through fifth-graders will visit some East Texas favorites.

SIZZLIN’ SUMMER MISSIONS Sizzlin’ Summer Missions will be from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Wednesdays in July. We will also have a family mission night at the East Texas Food Bank from 5:30-7:30 on the first Tuesday of each summer month.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION A Tuesday morning summer B90 group is now forming that will meet May 31-Aug. 30. Do you have friends who would like to read God’s word together? Interested in forming additional groups? Contact the Christian Education office ([email protected]) or register on-line for this transformational experience.

CONGREGATIONAL CARE We are organizing a team of people mover driv-ers to pick up seniors at Meadow Lake and Atria Willow Park retirement homes in time for Sunday School and return them after the 11 o’clock ser-vices. HOMEBOUND We need you to visit homebound members. Would you consider donating one hour a month to visit a lonely senior Marvin member no longer able to attend worship services? Contact Rev. Gerry Giles for information.

MATURE ADULTS The Grown-ups luncheon program will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 19, in Pirtle Hall. Patricia Heaton, Goodman Museum curator, will speak

about the history of the museum and the city of Tyler. Delicious food will be served while June Shull provides gathering music beforehand. Lunch reservations are required in the Welcome Center or on the web site or just come to listen.

MEN Monday Morning Men's Group meets from 6:30-7:30 a.m. in the Wesley Missions Center. Come at 6 a.m. for donuts and fellowship.

Tuesday Morning Men's Bible Study is taking a summer break.

Wednesday Laymen’s Lunch meets at 11:30 a.m. Come for lunch and a devotional in Pirtle Hall.

SINGLE ADULTS The Gathering, a young singles city-wide event, will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. May 19 at Don Juan’s. Get tickets at Don Juan’s or the Welcome Center for $10. Proceeds will go to St. Paul Chil-dren’s Foundation and Bethesda Health Clinic. Dinner is provided by Don Juan’s and Marvin.
