Marquis de Laffayette
Marquis de Laffayette was a French nobleman who sailed to America to join the American Revolution.
He had a wife named Marie Adrienne Francioise de Noailles and four children.
He followed General Washington, and became one of his trusted aid.

Wentworth Cheswell
Wentworth Cheswell was the first black man to own property in New Hampshire. He married Mary Davis in 1767, and they had four sons and nine daughters.
He fought on the patriot side of the war. He fought in the battle of Saratoga in 1777, which was a great victory for
the patriots. His military career ended after this battle.

King George III
King George III was the king of Great Britian, he had a wife and ten sons.
His actions sparked the rebellion, which led to war. He was inspiration for the loyalist side, although he didn’t fight the battle himself.

James Armistead
James Armistead was married and had a large family. He was a patriot spy. He was hired by Laffayette to spy on the British enemy and
he gathered information about their movement.
