MAROON 5It is a band of pop rock and American pop of Los Angeles, California. The group originally formed between 1994 and 1995 as Kara's flowers, while its members were enrolled in the secondary.

Signed with Reprise Records and released an album, the Fourth World, in 1997. After a lukewarm response to the album, the band was separated from his record label and attended the university. In 2001, the band regrouped, added to James Valentine to the band, and was followed by a new direction under the name of Maroon 5.

Maroon 5 signed with Octone Records and recorded their debut album in 2002, Songs about Jane, published in June of the same year, managed to get the gold, platinum and triple platinum in several countries of the world. The first single from the band was "harder to breathe", which helped to promote the album to number 6 on Billboard 200. The following singles were "This Love" and "She Will Be Loved", hits throughout the world in 2004. The group won the Grammy award for Best New Artist in 2005.

The songs of the band tend to be with electric guitar, often accompanied by the piano or synthesizer. The theme in all their love songs, which often lose; songs such as "This Love", "makes me wonder" and "Misery" have a very cynical tone, often expressing dissatisfaction with the relationship, while there are songs more sincere and emotional, as well as "She Will Be Loved" and "Never Gonna Leave This Bed", which express the longing for a romantic relationship.
