I read Marley and Me by John Grogan and I loved it. Marley and me is a loving

book that is about a wonderful family and a wonderful dog...well most of the time. Marley is a troubled dog that isn’t always the smartest. He chews and eats everything. John just started his new life with his new wife and they are both columnists who work full time. They want to have kids at some point and they want to be prepared for lots of moving around and activity. So to prepare, John got his new wife, Jen, a dog. They thought he was going to be an angel considering he loved Jen. Later after they were able to bring him home they named him Marley and discovered he was a pain in the butt. So after having Marley for two years and Marley becoming a better dog. John and Jen decide they’re ready for kids. First try didn’t go so well, but the second try they had a baby boy, Patrick, who they knew Marley would protect. Next they have another baby boy, Conner, and then came Colleen. The Grogans are now a happy family of fi ve, plus Marley.

What genre do you prefer to read? I like to read nonfi ction if it is interesting because if it is about something terrible and tragic sounds interesting because to think that that actually happened blows my mind .

Where do you learn about books you might want to read in the future?Lots of my friends are into the same books so if I see them reading a book that looks or sounds interesting I ask them about it. We do book reports at school also so those are fun too to look at.
