Marlborough Community Poers is a group where we share facilies, foster and encourage learning and organise different acvies to broaden members’ experience. Working with clay is an exciting and engaging experience. It enables you to discover many new things in the process of creating your own work.

Marlborough Community Potters is a group where we share facilities, foster and encourage learning and organise different activities to broaden members’ experience.

The group is supportive of all, ranging from beginners to the experienced and we all learn from each other.

Rule 3 – Membership

There will be two classes of membership who will have

equal voting rights and be eligible for the Committee.

(a) Associate Members. Any resident of the

Marlborough region interested in pottery may

become an associate member by submitting a written

application to the Committee and having that

application approved.

(b) Full Members. A full member will be one who

qualifies as in 3(a) and in addition has reached a stage

of proficiency acceptable to the Committee. Full

members will have the use of all facilities, equipment

and materials belonging to the group, providing the

current subscription has been paid.

(c) An Associate Member is entitled to all the benefits of

the group but may not use the equipment or

materials of the group except during a specific course

of instruction.

(d) Full Members, Associate Members and Non-

Members, with the approval of the Committee, may

take part in specific courses of instruction upon terms

set by the Committee.

(e) Joining/entrance fees and subscriptions shall not be New members are always welcome

they are competent and safe, have had an

introduction to the equipment and understand

safety and cleanliness requirements .
