MISSION

The Marketplace Children’s Foundation, established in 2004, strives to help children of the Eastside and Greater Seattle region who would otherwise not have the opportunity to get involved in athletics. League fees and equipment costs can be prohibitive for families. Some areas of the Eastside have schools with more than 50% of kids on free or reduced lunches. We believe sports help develop essential life skills in kids and therefore all kids deserve the opportunity to participate.

HOW

We use the organizational structure and support staff we already have in place at Marketplace Sotheby’s International Realty (providing the foundation with 0% administrative costs allows us to give 100% of donations back to the community). and the umbrella of our 501C3 to raise money for local sports programs.

WHAT

On October 5th, The Marketplace Children’s Foundation, 501C3, will host the Marketplace Children’s Foundation Golf Tournament, all proceeds will be used to support kids in local sports programs, including school and/or league fees.

Bear Creek Country Club in Woodinville. Located on lush, rolling terrain in the Cascade Mountain foothills, Bear Creek Country Club boasts a magnificent Jack Frei-designed championship layout and the personalized service and exclusive privileges that have earned it recognition among the finest private clubs in the greater Seattle area.

WHEN October 5th, 2015. 10:30 registration, 11:00 lunch. 12:00 shotgun.

COST

$100 per golfer includes golf, cart, lunch, dinner, swag, and prizes.

SILENT AUCTION:

Join us after the tounament for dinner, cocktails, and a silent auction while watching the Seahawks take on the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football.
