MARKETING MINUTE Summer is here! August 2017 August is National Immunization Awareness Month. Help Make a Difference! National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM) is an annual observance held in August to highlight the importance of vaccination for people of all ages. NIAM was established to encourage people of all ages to make sure they are up to date on the vaccines recommended for them. Communities have continued to use the month each year to raise awareness about the important role vaccines play in preventing serious, sometimes deadly, diseases. What you can do to spread the word: Talk to friends and family members about how vaccines aren’t just for kids. People of all ages can get shots to protect them from serious diseases. Encourage people in your community to get the flu vaccine every year. Having a sister is already difficult to deal with, and now she has her own day. Boy, you will never live this down. August 13th National Left Handers Day. Everyone thought being left handed was overrated, but now you have your own Holiday! August 26th National Dog Day. It’s not like we didn't already know that dog is a mans best friend? This is a day we have to prove it!

Ingredients: 4 Rice Krispies Treats® Original bars
1 banana Whipped cream spray
Chocolate syrup Maraschino cherries
Note: Makes 4 Sliders
Directions: 1. Cut your Rice Krispies Treats® Original bar in half using a knife, like you are making a sandwich.
2. Cut the banana into slices.
3. Line up banana slices on the Rice Krispies Treats® Original bar half. Then top the
banana slices with the whipped cream spray.
