Identify the target

It is quite vital to identify the target market to which the School is to be marketed with.

1. Stay At Home Parents

2. Dual Working Parents

One must remember that our target is not the Children but rather the parent

(Mistaking Of this Can be the difference between how the School flourishes)

If the target is a High, Medium or Low class sector of the society

How Willing is the target audience

The Most Important factor to take into account is how willing are the parents to enroll their

child in a New/in business play school.

What are their requirements of those parents?

Another Important factor to remember is how willing are the parents to enroll their child in

the competition/other play schools?

(The main point is to identify what it is you can bring out that your competition can not

produce)

Page 6: Marketing a Play School

Identifying the necessity of the parents

The Location of the school is quite important

(where is it ?, Is it close by ?, is it easily reachable ?, How are the locals ?, Is it close to work or

other convenient places?)

The above can make The hugest of Difference To The Customers, so the area at which the

school is located or is to be built is of great importance

Tie–Ups

A major and important factor to take into account is tie-ups

Local Super Marts

Local Business

Real Estate agents

Page 10: Marketing a Play School

Elaboration Of Tie-Ups

Super Marts

Local Super Marts Or Convenient store can be target through various schemes of them ranging From

Flyers, Pamphlets & Posters to Various Coupon based System where the local business give out coupons

or vouchers of the playschool

& in return The playschool handing out Voucher or Coupons of the Super Mart

(This Allows for benefit of both the Playschool and Super-Mart)

Which is a mutual based gain

Page 11: Marketing a Play School

• Local Business

• The same strategies Which were deployed In the Super Mart can be deployed here

For example : If The local business includes a dance studio or Small business such as coffee shop etc.

The Voucher of the school can be handed out by these local business

& in return the playschool can assure the Business of Customer or The Same Service in return for theirs

collaboration.

Here a Mutual Benefit Program Can be developed

• Real Estate Agents

• All though a small sector, The real estate field can be targeted to bring out customers

For Example : Supposing a new family with a child moved into a neighborhood and were on the search for a

playschool.

The agent in this case would recommend the school to them with a additional discount

(where the agent gets paid a small commission for his collaboration)

Cooperate Tie-Ups

This is Quite a convenient factor that can be influenced.

Once can merely approach the HR of a company after all the role of a HR is to ensure the

welfare of the employees hence a tie up can be made with a local organization where the

children of the employees can be placed there ,which allows for the convenience of the

workers and allows for maximum productivity of workers.

(A good deal can be for every students that are placed they get a company based

discount & many other various benefits such as any time walk-in convenience)

Page 13: Marketing a Play School

Referral Schemes

Speech based advertising

This can be useful even if the school is a new foundation or one in existence

This works by deploying moves such as for every new customer that an existing customer can

bring in a discount or a week for free class can be given out and the cycle continues

Image

Popularity is a major factor to take into account the name and logo alone must be

appealing and leave a mark on the consumer subconsciously , So one must put a great

amount of thought when it comes to creating a logo and also the slogan of the play

school

Page 15: Marketing a Play School

What You offer over the competition

Although a tuff task one must always try to distinguish ones business from others

Merely Stating false claims and services can not lead to good business the school must back

it up through proof of its system

Quality Education Must been offered , Certified teachers , Staff & Personal

Proper Infrastructure and facilities must be provided

Transport Facilities must be provided

Page 16: Marketing a Play School

• The Education system

The School must provide a certified form of education accepted by the perspective

government or such other education based institution

They must employ tactics to encourage learning & be a model citizen because when it

comes to children , They learn the most as kids & also absorb their surroundings so a non

hostile friendly environment must be run for the children to grow into

• Proper Infrastructure

Proper Infrastructure must be provided , These include buildings, Desk & Chairs, Toilets, Play

ground, Staff Rooms, halls etc.

• Transportation

If the school is unreachable for a few or cooperate parents find it hard to get time to pick up

their children, transportation must be provided so as to ensure ease not only to parents but

also the children as well

Page 17: Marketing a Play School

Parental Rights

The School needs to make its system completely visible to the parents and allow the

parents to see it for what it is.

Parents have the right to request and receive information on the school such as

background Checks on the teachers, Staff & Drivers etc.

They have the right to check up on the teachers regarding their children at anytime these

include walk in inspection of the class

Page 18: Marketing a Play School

• The Parents to be made aware of their authority

The parents have complete rights over their children and no harm can be done to the

child other then by the parents them selves(Punishment).

A system can also be introduced where parents have the right to logon to a website at

any moment in time and through CCTV’s view their child in the class.

Regarding Pick up’s & drops of the child they need to be made aware that the child is

only dropped off with only authorized personal as to ensure safety

Page 19: Marketing a Play School

Pricing

The last but very important factor to take into account is pricing, Their number must not be

insanely high that only a select few can afford it but also too low to degrade the school.

There is a fine line that can be reached when it comes to this.

In todays competition playschool seem to have ridiculously high prices for education at

the primary level hence one must take into consideration how to beat the competition

either through lower prices or higher prices backed up through performance.

Page 20: Marketing a Play School

In Conclusion

• Deploying these tactics can lead to better

business.

• Although for a small amount of time losses can

be experienced if executed properly the return

can be of a significant amount.

Feedback & Conclusion

comes down to marketing a Play-School ,

It all depends on the service that is

provided , always good business
