Conventional RCC, MS and plastic tanks are

widely used for storage applications of water,

chemical and solvents and for most of liquids having

different densities.

However, there are certain

drawbacks in the usage of

these conventional storage

systems such as –

Difficult to Build.

No protection against

smell.

Long and huge structures

for bigger capacities.

maintenance problems.

The lead time for the

the construction of concrete

tanks can be 2-3 month.

time can go up to 1-2 month.

These storage systems

have primarily three layers which are-

Outer most Layer- Steel Strip:

Zincrolyte / Zincrolyte-Plastisol coated with a Liner to

withhold Water in 5 capacities : 50000, 1,00,000, 2,50,000,

5,00,000 & 7,50,000 litres.

Diameters 5.36m, 7.37 m, 12.06m, 16.75m and 20.10m

3 Stage high and 2.28 m height tanks for Indian market.

Galvanised Sheets used with high mechanical

strength, of 0.8mm thickness.

The Sheets are made of Zinc Aluminum Alloys with

Zyncrolite coating.

Extra factory sprayed Plastisol (vinyl) coating possible.

Middle Layer- For the protection of liners, we use a

protective layer of Polyester Non -Woven (300 g/ m2

~ 500 g/m2) at the wall and bottom surface

Inner Layer- Liners:

Aquatex® Liner(Black-PO) with a thickness of 0.5

& 1 mm. for Clean water, Rain water and Drain water

(in horticulture with minerals and nutrients)for Open

systems with Silofloat® floating cover

Water Reservoirs- For Indian market, Aquatex EX liner is

developed which is a high polyolefin film with

high chemical and UV resistance.

Covering System Reservoirs- Genafloat EX is a durable, floating cover for

water reservoirs which reduces the evaporation

surface by 80-90%.
