•Electronic waste, e-waste, e-scrap, or Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) are the
discarded, surplus, obsolete, or broken electrical or electronic devices which have either reached the
end of its lifecycle, or are no longer fully operational
•E-wastes are considered dangerous, as certain electronic components contain substances such as lead,
cadmium, cathode ray tubes carrying lead oxide, toxic gases, toxic metals, biologically active materials,
acids, plastics and plastic additives
� Such substances can be hazardous in differential physical conditions and density, and may cause various known &
unknown medical conditions in humans who come in contact with such elements
