Mouchel Infrastructure Services is growing and recruiting hundreds of staff to meet client demand for our services. This growth is reflected in our Maritime business which works regionally, nationally and internationally with a diverse range of clients in the public and private sector. Working on both ‘greenfield’ projects and transforming disused facilities, the Maritime team delivers throughout the project cycle. It specialises in the strategic planning, development, design and delivery of maritime civil engineering projects across five core sectors: • ports and harbours, including container, bulk, ferry and cruise terminals • energy terminals, including oil and gas and supply bases for offshore wind farms • waterfronts and coastlines, including sea defences, beach management and residential/commercial waterfront developments • small craft harbours and marinas, including fishing harbours, marinas and heritage sites • marine outfalls and intakes, for water and waste water, and for energy related outfalls, intakes, pipes and cables The team’s expertise extends to all related disciplines, from coastal and marine engineering and planning, geotechnical and environmental sciences through to general civil infrastructure engineering. Clients in the UK, Channel Islands, France, Argentina, India, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Mexico, Peru, Nigeria, Ukraine, Alaska and South Africa, and the Dominican Republic have benefitted from the Maritime team’s expertise. Our team works closely with expertise from across Mouchel to provide an integrated service for transportation, structural, and geotechnical solutions, and also for in-depth expert support on the environmental issues related to maritime developments. We also have strong relationships with leading specialist consultants to augment the service we can provide. Client satisfaction, the growing volume of sea trade, and investment in a wide range of commercial, residential, sports, leisure and tourist projects around the world all combines to underpin the growth of the Mouchel’s Maritime business.
