A city of traders and famous sailors, with many stories to tell.The old Mediterranean port of Kotor is surrounded by fortifications built during the Venetian period. The Old City of Kotor is a well preserved urbanization typical of the middle Ages, built between the 12th and 14th century. Medieval architecture and numerous monuments of cultural heritage have made Kotor a UNESCO listed “World Natural and Historical Heritage Site”. Carnivals and festivals are organized each year to give additional charm to this most beautiful city of the Montenegrin littoral. Which all together make it a cultural landscape of outstanding and universal value. Kotor Marina is located at the SE end of the main dock, identified by a small sign. The pontoons have lines tailed to the dock, marina staff direct you to a berth.
