Assistant principal Intern: As an Assistant principal Intern, I aided the principal in the overall administration of the school .I was responsible for scheduling student classes, ordering textbooks and supplies, and coordinating transportation, custodial, cafeteria, and other support services. under-funded hospitals and maternity wards in Cote d’Ivoire. Supervises two staff and twenty student volunteers, and established a board of

directors. Raised more than $250,000 in in-kind donations of refurbished medical

equipment and supplies from the American Medical Resources Foundation, as well as $32,000 in cash donations from corporations, diaspora groups and individuals to pay for the shipping of the medical equipment.

Delta T Group August 2007- June 2011Education ConsultantI worked for DeltaT as an educator, including planning and delivering lessons in multiple languages, and as special Educator as well as years of supporting education development by using analytical approaches to reinforce education policy, administration, and practice. Established a program in one of Baltimore’s most violent high schools to decrease violence at school and in the community by teaching 400 high-risk students decision making skills, anger management, personal responsibility and the importance of education.

Developed a peer-mentorship program with older grades mentoring younger ones, as well as a 15-student safety patrol that was able to stop fights in the school cafeteria and halls before they began.

Created a community service program that sent students to other schools to lecture on violence prevention, and established school clean up days in order to improve the environment and help students focus on learning.

Wrote successful financial and in-kind grants to receive $5,000 in funding. Reduced violence in the pilot school by 70% within the first year. .
