Fertuna vines gave perfectly matured grapes, with healthy and solid skins, such that we can expect a wine production rich of colour and structure. Favouring this great vintage, that seems to really be a “ a good year”, has been firstly the climate, distinguished by a spring alternating generous rainfall to sunny and breezing times. is component enabled an accelerated ripening of bunches between June and July. e extreme hot weather registered in July and August stopped plant growing, but raining days of end of August took back grapes to perfect balance, also thanks to the temperature range registered between days and nights. Harvest occurred so in perfect ripening conditions for both white and red berry varieties.
