Welcome to the March edition of the VoiCeS magazine! We also welcome you to the month of the “women” and the month when the winter officially ends and spring days should arrive in our streets…i will not speak a lot about the 8th of March, the International Women’s day, because for me person-ally, a woman (no matter if she is your mother, grandmother, sister, wife, girl-friend or a daughter) should be treat-ed with respect and attention every day, not only for some specific days…Speaking about spring, i must say that this is probably one of the most weird winters we ever experienced. the only snow we saw was in end of Novem-ber and since then we had winter days that looked more as spring or autumn time, not even close to the coldness we should experience…i only hope that the upcoming spring will not be weird, because i expect many shinny days, sur-rounded with green grass, blossoming trees and colorful flowers…We don’t want rainy days in spring, right? Whatever happens with the weather this month, try to enjoy it and do not forget to take a look inside our maga-zine, we have lovely stories prepared for you!!!By Gjoko Vukanovski

Добредојдовте во мартовското издание на ВОИСЕС магазинот! Ние исто така ви посакуваме топло добредојде и во “месецот на жената” и во месецот кога зимата официјално завршува, а пролетните денови треба да пристигнат на нашите улици… Нема да зборувам за 8-ми Март, меѓународниот ден на жената, затоа што за мене лично, спрема жената (без оглед дали таа ти е мајка, баба, сестра, сопруга, девојка или ќерка) треба да се однесуваме со почит и со внимание секој ден, а не само на некои посебно одбрани денови... Кога веќе ја спомнавме пролетта, јас морам да кажам дека ова е една од најчудните зими кои некогаш сме ги имале. Единствениот снег го видовме некаде кон крајот на Ноември и од тогаш наваму, повеќето зимски денови изгледаа како да се есенски или пролетни, без присуство на очекуваниот студ во нив... Искрено се надевам дека и пролетта што следи нема да биде исто така чудна, затоа што очекувам многу сончеви денови, опкружени со зелена трева, расцутани дрвја и разнобојни цветови... Не сакаме дождливи денови во пролет, нели? Што и да се случи со времето оваа пролет, обидете се да уживате во него и не заборавајте да го погледнете нашиот магазин одвнатре, затоа што имаме одлични стории кои ги подготвивме за вас!

Can you imagine life without music?

i could try, but it seems that sounds have always been here and will remain for a long time after us, to reason in eternity. it seems that it is too vain to speak globally about music, especially when music for us is what we will manage to understand as sense of the sounds that surround us, and the sounds that we create, as well. the good news is that we, as a civilization, have managed to unite with something that is so transcendent and manifold. it is fantastic that we manage (some of us, at least) to pulsate with music and interweave its sense with the sense of our existence.

What music period do you like the most and why?

i always enjoy the moment that i exist in. the best music is the one that overwhelms me and shatters me in the moment. i find it really hard to philosophize about periods and music, but growing up in the eighties probably predetermined many things for my music develop-ment. happy times, not only in the music sense, but also socially, times of several cultural revolutions: post-punk, hip-hop, indie rock, acid house,-techno-industrial. an unbelievable creative explosion, when music, on the one hand, meets new technology, and new spiritu-ality, on the other. Fantastic.

VoiCeS team interviewed dJ Mirko Popov, one of the most influential and dedicated artists in the Macedonian alternative scene, creator of PMG collective band and PMG recordings label.

Can you imagine life without music?

you were born and you live in Skopje, what meaning does the city have to you?

Skopje is my church. the relationship that i have with it is quite religious, analogue to the belief that the religious thought is the first and comprehensive thought that has been born and developed in humans in explaining their world. it is deeply settled and contains in itself all philosophies, sciences, rituals, spiritualities and materialities. i dream of and work for an oPeN Skopje, Skopje of positive changes and continuous action. a city full of culture and in interaction with the latest trends of the world civilization. a city full of fantastic people that devotionally work on its raise and enlighten-ment. i don’t see myself separated from this city.

have you ever considered moving to another place?

We all have moments of weakness, so in those rare moments i have probably said something in that direction, but i have never seriously thought or considered that. i reckon that each one of us has responsibility and joy to make his living place the best possible living place for him and for the others. each point in this world has an extraordinary potential to be trans-formed into a nice living place, so i consider moving, especially the one caused by economic reasons, to be a sad vain.

Дали можеш да замислиш живот без музика?

Би можел да се обидам, но се чини дека звуците биле тука отсекогаш и ќе останат долго после нас, да резонираат во вечноста. Се чини пресуетно

е да се зборува така глобално за музика, особено кога за нас музика е она што ќе успееме да го сфатиме како смисол од звуците кои не опкружуваат, па и звуците

кои ги креираме. Добрата вест е дека како цивилизација сме успеале да се соединиме со нешто така трансцедентно и многузначно. Фантастично е што успеваме (барем некои од нас :) да пулсираме со музиката и да го испреплетуваме нејзиниот, со смисолот на нашето постоење.

Кој музички период ти се допаѓа најмногу и зошто?

Секогаш уживам во мигот во кој постојам. Најдобрата музика е таа која ме обзема и растура во моментов. Навистина ми е тешко да мудрувам околу периодите и музиката, но веројатно растењето во осумдесеттите

предодреди многу нешта за мојот музички развој. Среќно време, не само музички туку и општествено, време на неколку културни револуции: пост-панк, хип хоп, инди рок, есид хаус-техно-индустриал. Неверојатна креативна

експлозија, кога музиката се сретнува од една страна со новата технологија, а од друга страна со новата духовност. Фантастично.

Пријателство. Љубов. Танц. Лудачка посветеност. Ритуал. Напредок. Промена. Убав живот.

Роден си и живееш во Скопје, какво е значењето на градот врз тебе?

Скопје е мојата црква. Односот кон него ми е поприлично религиозен, аналогно на сфаќањето дека религиозната е првата и најсеопфатната мисла која се родила и развила кај човекот во објаснување на неговиот свет. Најдлабоко

вкоренета и ги содржи сите филозофии, науки, ритуали, духовности, материјалности во себе. Сонувам и работам за едно ОТВОРЕНО Скопје, Скопје на позитивни промени и континуирана акција. Град полн со култура

и во интеракција со најсовремените текови на светската цивилизација. Град полн со фантастични луѓе кои посветено работат на неговото издигнување и просветлување. Не се гледам себе си одвоен од овој град.

Дали некогаш си размислувал за преселување во некое друго место?

Секој од нас има мигови на слабост, па веројатно во ретките такви мигови сум изустил нешто во тој правец, но никогаш вистински нит сум помислил, нит сериозно сум гледал на тоа.

Сметам дека секој од нас има одговорност и радост да го престори своето место на живеење во најдоброто место за него и другите. Секоја точка во овој свет има

извонреден потенцијал да се трансформира во добро место за живеење, па иселувањето, а особено она од економски причини го сметам за

тажна суета.

Daily lifeWell, maybe not so “daily” was that one i observed coming just one day before its independence day (17.02). Very crowdy, vivid, decorated with flags in any possible place and what is the most important not pretending to be something else. that is Pristina, the Newborn city, one and only, without Belgradi-an boat-restaurants or Parisian triumphal arch (although i am a real fan of Skopjan ambience!) but with tidy, well organized streets, nice promenade and modern buildings (especially National Public library). Prizren personally i perceive not so unique, bit similar to Mostar or Sarajevo but still charming and with the First regional Cultural heritage Center in the Balkans.

Sometimes my friends ask me: does someone pay you for that Balkan’s countries promotion? No? They defi-nitely should! this time i have been asked that ques-tion because visiting Pristina and Prizren in Kosovo and praise the country on every turn. Why? Because it is ex-

tremely different from other ones I have ever been.

Night lifeSomething which surprised me the most in Pristina.i have never seen such variety of clubs and bars maintained in different styles so every-one can find an alternative place according to his not only music taste. only turbofolk culture seems to be dead here…

People Kosovo inhabitants are very young. Chil-dren, teenagers, young parents and lot of attention is required to notice people in their 50s, which is unusual but obviously understandable because of stormy recent history. however, if you manage to find those older ones, there is high possibility that they speak albanian, Serbian, english, maybe even other languages and they are willing to use their skills to help you in any way needed.

Extra InfoVery easy to reach from Skopje by bus and train.Prices oscil-lates around 5 Euros and time needed to get there around 3 hours. Hitchhiking, which was my choice is definitely the cheapest one (actually for free) and relatively easy in Kosovo. Not a single driver asked for money and the longest time i spent waiting for a car was 20 minutes. About prices: cevap with four different salads in Prizren restaurant is 1,50 Euro, beer in a club in Pristina 1,50 - 2 Euros and coffee just next to “Newborn” lettering 1,50, although in other places you can have it even for 0,80 and it will be your best coffee ever!

вреМе е за коСово!Секојдневен животПа, можеби и не беше толку “секојдневен” тој живот што јас имав можност да го видам, еден ден пред независноста на Косово (17. 02.). Премногу гужва, весело, декорирано со знамиња на секое можно место, и што е најбитно, без преправање за да се биде нешто друго. Тоа е Приштина, новородениот град, еден и единствен, без белградски бротчиња – ресторани или париската Триумфална Порта (иако ја сум вистински фан на Скопскиот амбиент!), туку со средени, добро организирани улици, убави стази за прошетка и модерни згради (особено Националната јавна библиотека). Призрен, лично јас го доживеав како не толку посебен, туку како сличен на Мостар или Сараево, но сепак привлечен и со првиот Центар за регионално културно наследство на балканот.

Понекогаш, моите пријатели ме прашуваат: “Дали некој ти плаќа за оваа промоција на Балканските држави? Не? Навистина треба да ти платат!” Овој пат јас бев прашана со ова прашање, заради посетата на Приштина и Призрен во Косово и заради возвеличување на оваа држава во секој поглед. Зошто? Затоа што е екстремно поразлична од другите Балкански држави во кои

некогаш сум била.

Ноќен животНешто што најмногу ме изненади во Приштина. Никогаш немав видено таков спектар на ноќни клубови и барови одржувани во различни стилови, така што секој може да си најде алтернативно место според неговиот музички вкус. Само турбофолк културата се чини дека е мртва таму...

ЛуѓетоЖителите на Косово се многу млади. Деца, тинејџери, млади родители и многу внимание е потребно да се посвети во забележувањето на средовечните луѓе (луѓе во 50-тата година), коешто е невообичаено но очигледно разбирливо поради бурната блиска историја. Како и да е, доколку успееш да пронајдеш некој од оваа група луѓе, постои висока можност тие да зборуваат албански, српски или англиски и дури и некои други јазици и тие се расположени да ги употребат нивните знаења и умешности со цел да ви помогнат во секој можен поглед каде што е потребно.

Екстра ИнфоМногу лесно да стигнеш до таму од Скопје е со автобус или воз. Цените осцилираат од околу 5 евра и времето на патувањето од околу 3 часа. Автостопирањето, коешто беше мој избор, дефинитивно е најефтиниот начин (впрочем бесплатен) и е многу лесно за автостоп во Косово. Ниту еден шофер не ми побара пари и најдолгото време што чекав некој да застане беше 20 минути. Околу цените: Ќебап со четири различни салати, во рестораните во Призрен е 1. 50 евра, пиво по клубовите во Приштина изнесува 1. 50 – 2 евра и кафе веднаш до “Новородениот” пропорционално чини 1. 50 евра, иако на други места можеш да го добиеш и за 0. 80 евра и ќе биде твоето најдобро кафе што си го пиел некогаш!

one of the most cherished shows is the morning broadcast “hello Macedonia” which you can watch every workday on Channel 5 at 7a.m. one of the hosts of this morning programme is our interlocutor and tV- presenter Milena antovska. We , the members of the Volunteers Centre Skopje , have been their guests at

the end of the last year , on the occasion of the international day of Volunteerism - 5th of december. Now it is our turn to invite Milena to be our guest for the March edition of VoiCeS magazine.

Voices: Since when you work as a journalist/tV host and how long has it been since you made your first appearance in “ hello Macedonia”?

Milena: With practice in journalism i started before 5 years . trough Channel 5 i met closely with the things i have been study-ing in college. it’s my big pleasure to be part of it and still learning. as a hostof the morning broadcast “hello Macedonia” i have been working for four and a half years. i made my first appearance on 13th of July 2009.

Е дна од најгледаните, а можеби и носител на епитетотот најгледана, е утринската емисија со наслов “Здраво Македонијо” која оди секој работен ден на Канал 5 телевизија во 7 часот наутро. Еден од домаќините на оваа утринска емисија е и нашиот соговорник, водителката и ТВ лице Милена

Антовска. Ние од Волонтерски Центар Скопје на нејзина покана и по повод 5-ти Декември, Меѓународниот ден на волонтеризмот, бевме нивни гости при крајот на минатата година, па сега е ред и ние неа да ја поканиме да биде гостин во ова мартовско издание на нашиот ВОИСЕС магазин...

ВОИСЕС: Колку време се занимаваш со водителство/новинарство и колку време помина од твоето прво појавување во “Здраво Македонијо”?

Милена: Со новинарството во пракса се запознав пред точно 5 години. Канал 5 е медиумот во кој ги видов одблизу сите оние нешта на кои не учеа на факултет, и на мое големо задоволство се уште сум во истиот каде што се уште учам. Како водителка на утринската емисија “Здраво Македонијо” сум нешто помалку, околу 4 и пол години. 13 јули 2009 беше моето прво појавување.

M: i had my first journalistic experience on the first spring day in 2009. it was snow-ing and it was unusual so i needed to make a contribution about that. i didn’t have enough experience and i was really scared how everything is going to be. i was in the field and i needed to record stand – up show. the thought of it scared me even more, but at the end everything turn out well. i was really happy and felt in love with my profession after that. i will never forget that feeling of being scared and excited at the same time.

M: this profession offers lot of possi-bilities. there is no monotony, every day something new happens and that for me represents a challenge. Meeting new people, making new contacts, following the current affairs are also some of the reasons why i decided to enroll at the college of journalism. and host of“hello Macedonia” i became by coincidence. at that time i didn’t have that kind of ambi-tions, but now i am happy that i made that step. Journalism is a craft, everyday you learn something new and i wanted to work that , but alsodestiny wanted to be this way. Back in time, few beloved people trusted me, saw potential in me and i got an offer to be part of the morn-ing broadcast. it seemed interesting and i looked on it as a challenge so i accepted with pleasure. i planned to work that temporarily but the viewers liked me and i felt like i belong there. So, here we are, this is the fifth year as we function impec-cability.

V: Why did you choose the journal-ism as your profession and how did you become host of this morning broadcast?

M: Професијата која ја одбрав нуди многу можности, нема монотонија, секој ден се случува нешто ново и тоа за мене беше предизвик. Запознавање нови луѓе, остварување контакти, следење на сите актуелни настани се дел од причините кои ме натераа да се запишам на студиите по новинарство. Водителка на “Здраво Македонијо” станав сосема случајно. Во тој момент немав такви амбиции, но сега сум среќна што се одлучив на таков чекор. Новинарството е занает, секој ден се учи нешто ново и токму тоа сакав да го правам во тој момент, но судбината така сакала. Неколку драги луѓе кои во тој момент имаа доверба во мене и гледаа потенцијал, ми понудија да бидам дел од тимот на утринската програма. Ми звучеше интересно и беше голем предизвик за мене, па прифатив со задоволство. Планот беше да останам привремено, но на гледачите им се допаднав и јас почувствував дека сум своја на своето. И еве веќе петта година функционираме беспрекорно.

B: Зошто ја одбра новинарската професија и како се случи да бидеш водителка на оваа утринска емисија?

V: What was you first journalistic experience and how you remember to it?

B: Кое беше твоето прво новинарско искуство и по што ќе се сеќаваш на него?

M: Првото мое новинарско искуство беше на првиот пролетен ден во 2009 та кога заврна снег. Тоа беше необично и токму за тоа требаше да направам прилог. Се уште немав доволно искуство и бев многу исплашена како сето тоа ќе излезе. Бев на терен и требаше да снимам “стенд-ап настап” што уште повеќе ме исплаши, но на крај се беше како што треба и бев многу среќна и уште повеќе ја засакав мојата професија. Ете тој момент на страв и возбуда што истовремено ги чувствував никогаш нема да го заборавам.

M: People often ask me this question, and some of them ask me this even when they meet me on the street. i am not sleepyhead and i usually wake up early. even before i started with work i didn’t sleep till late, so waking up at 5.30 am it is not really big problem for me. and when it comes to my smile, people who know me in my private life, can tell you that it is nothing new or strange for me as i am always positive and really joyous person.

V: as young and successful person what you will say to the young people that are at the end with their studies and need to find them-selves in the real world when it comes to their profession?

В: За нас младите кружи негативно мислење дека сме по малку мрзеливи и дека не сакаме да ги започнуваме работните обврски рано наутро. Ти како млада личност мораш да стануваш многу рано, затоа што во 7 веќе ти започнува емисијата. Како успеваш секое утро да бидеш еднакво насмеана?М: Хаха... Често ми го поставуваат ова прашање, дури и некои луѓе кога на улица ќе ме сретнат... Јас по природа не сум спанка и сум ранобудник. И пред да работам не сум спиела до доцна, така што станувањето во 5 и пол и не ми преставува огромен проблем. А што се однесува до насмевката оние кои ме познаваат приватно ќе ви кажат дека тоа не е ништо ново и чудно за мене бидејќи таква сум по природа, насмеана и позитивна.

M: they should follow their dream because only in that way their ambitions and ideas will become reality, always to listen to their heart and to themselves , to chose what suits them the most, to be brave, in compliance with their criteria and not to be afraid to take risks.

B: Како млада и успешна личност, што би им порачала на помладите кои тек сега завршуваат со своето образование и треба да се пронајдат себеси во реалниот свет на професионалниот ангажман?

M: Би им препорачала да го следат својот сон бидејќи само така ќе ги остварат своите идеи и амбиции. Да го слушаат своето срце и за себе да го одберат она што најмногу им одговара и во се ќе бидат најприродни и свои. V: is the work of a journalist exactly what you have imagined while you were still studying and what are your professional plans for the future?

M: More interesting and more creative. When it comes to my future plans , i will say that for now i am staying exactly where i am , but it does not mean that i am not having any new plans or i am not think-ing about new projects. everything in it’s time and when i will have something more definite you willbe the first ones that i am going to inform.

V: For us, the young people, there is one general negative opinion that we are lazy and we do not want to start our working duties early in the morning. you need to wake up really early as your morning broad-cast starts at 7 a.m. how you as young person succeed to be so cheerful every morning?

Pse e zgjodhe profesionin e gazetarisë dhe si ndodhi që të jesh udhëheqëse e emisionit të mëngjesit?

Profesionin të cilën e zgjodha ofron shumë përparësi , nuk ka monotoni, çdo ditë ndodh diçka e re dhe ajo për mua ishte sfidë. Njoftova njerëz të rinj, vendosje të kontakteve , vëzh-gim i ngjarjeve aktuale janë disa nga arsyet të cilët më kanë shty që të regjistrohem në studimet e gazetarisë. Gazetare e emisionit ”Mirëmëngjesi Maqedoni” u bëra shumë rastë-sisht. Në atë moment nuk kisha ambicje të tilla, por jam e lumtur që u vendosa në hap të tillë. Gazetaria është mjeshtëri, çdo ditë mësohet

diçka e re dhe pikërisht atë doja ta bëja në atë moment ,por fati ashtu deshi. disa njerëz të rëndësishëm për mua të cilët kishin besim dhe vërejtën poten-cial tek unë, më ofruan të jem pjesë e ekipit të programit të mëngjesit. Më dukej interesante dhe ishte dhe ishte sfidë e madhe për mua dhe pranova me kënaqësi . Plani ishte të qëndroj përkohësisht, por shikuesve ju pëlqeva dhe unë ndjeva se jam vetja. dhe ja viti i pestë që funksionojmë.

Kush ishte përvoja jote e parë gazetareske dhe për çfarë do ta mbash mend?

Përvoja ime e pare gazetareske ishte në ditën e pare të pranverës të kur mbaroj bora.Ajo ishte e pazakonshme dhe më për atë duheshte të bëj <emision>. ende nuk kisha përvojë sa duhet dhe isha shumë e frikësuar se si do të del e gjithë ajo. isha në teren dhe duhej të inq-izoja “ngjarje stand-up” që ende më shumë më frikësoi, por në fund ishte gjithçka që duhej dhe isha shumë e lumtur dhe ende më shumë e desha profesionin tim. Ja ato moment të frikës dhe të shqetësimit që njëkohësisht i ndjeva asnjëherë nuk do ti harroj.

Profesioni I gazetarisë a është ajo çfarë e para-mendoje kur studioje dhe cilat janë planet e tua për të ardhmen sa I përket anës profesionale?

Shumë më interesante dhe më kreative, ndërsa sa u përket planeve për të ardhmen do të them se tash për tash do të qëndroj aty ku jam, por gjithsesi nuk do të thotë se unë nuk mendoj pë projekte dhe plane të reja. Gjithçka në kohë të vet, kur të vijë koha ju do të jeni ndër të parët që do ta kuptoni.

Për neve të ritë qarkullon një mendim negativ se jemi nga pak përtacë dhe se nuk duam ti fillojmë obligimet tona herët në mëngjes. Ti si e re që je duhesh patjetër të zgjohesh shumë herët, meqë në ora ju fillon emisioni .Si arrin që çdo mëngjes të jesh gjithmonë e buzëqe-shur?

haha… Shpesh ma parashtrojnë këtë py-etje, bile edhe disa njerëz kur më takojnë në rrugë… unë nga natyra nuk jam gjumashe dhe zgjohem herët. edhe para se të punoj nuk kam fjetur vonë, kështu që zgjohem në ora 5 e gjysmë dhe nuk më paraqet ndonjë problem të madh. Ndërsa sa i për-ket buzëqeshjes ato që më njohin në jetën private do t’ju tregojnë se nuk është diçka e re meqë nga natyra jam ashtu, e buzëqeshur dhe pozitive.

space almost whole week, and i wasn’t bored at all. this week was completely different from my previous experiences abroad. Most of my friends thought it was one another regular trip for me. however, the tC was serious and re-sponsible. in a non-formal way through work-shops, games, discussions, presentations, the-atre we learned a lot of things about project management, and we developed our writing skills in order to be able to do our own success-ful project, in the future. Besides its working part, i have to mention the fun we had here. through this project we had a lot of relaxed and funny moments as well. every night at the bar of our hostel, we enjoyed drinking good beer, playing different games and sharing our life stories. the international evening, the free day in Brussels and the farewell party were definitely the best ones. this tC brought me new perspectives in life, a lot of new friendships, new connections, some of them are already gone, some of them might stay longer but the sweet memories in our minds and hearts will last forever. Chances are everywhere, pick out the real one, take it and create your own story.

i am looking at my stone and i can feel its real magic. exactly as i was told, the stone is magic, all the memories are getting out from it, as it was yesterday. i remember the day while i was

getting ready for the training course in Belgium, and for the last time I was reading the Еmail from the organizer. What was strange about it, was the thing that all the participants were told to get a stone with them. i took one and i was wonder-ing why we need that stone. Since the first day of the tC we were asked to show it and keep it with us all the time, actually that was one of the main rules. even at the end of the tC we found out the amazing story about the stone. this time, i won’t tell you its short story but mine. everything started on 4 of February 2014, when 28 participants from 7 different countries on age from 18 to 56 years, gather in dilbeek, beautiful village near Brussels, Belgium. We were here for 8 awesome days for the tC “Get ready For the Fu-ture.” the tC was on project management to pre-pare youth workers working with disadvantaged groups for the new erasmus+ program. this was my first training course from the youth in action program and it was an unforgettable experience for me. Уште од првиот ден, требаше го покажеме и да го чуваме со нас цело време, всушност тоа беше и едно од главните правила. Дури на крајот ја откривме прекрасната приказна за каменот. Овој пат нема да ви ја раскажам неговата кратка приказна туку мојата.Се започна на 4-ти февруари 2014, кога 28 учесници од 7 различни држави, на возраст од 18 до 56 години, се собраа во Дилбек, прекрасно село во близина на Брисел, Белгија. Бевме таму 8 денови за тренинг курсот “Get ready For The Future” (Подготви се за иднината). Тренинг курсот беше во врска со управувањето со пректи, да ги подготви младинските работници кои работат со маргинализирани групи за новата програма “Erasmus+“. Ова беше мојот прв тренинг курс од програмата “Youth in Action” (Млади во Акција) истовремено незаборавно искуство за мене. За прв пат во животот бев во затворен простор речиси цела недела, и воопшто не ми беше досадно. Оваа недела беше потполно различна од поранешните мои искуства во странство. Повеќето од моите пријатели мислеа дека сум на обично патување, меѓутоа, ова беше сериозна и одговорна обука. На неформален начин, преку работилници, игри, дискусии, презентации, театар научивме многу нешта за управувањето со проекти, а исто така ги развивме и нашите вештини за пишување се со цел, во иднина да бидеме способни да направиме наш сопствен успешен проект. Покрај работниот дел, морам да ја споменам и забавата што ја имавме. Преку овој преокт, исто така имавме многу релаксирани и забавни моменти. Секоја вечер во барот на нашиот хостел уживавме пиејќи добро пиво, играјќи најразлични игри и раскажувајќи си ги животните приказни. Интернационалната вечер, слободниот ден во Брисел и прошталната забава дефинитивно беа најдобри. Овој тренинг курс ми донесе многу нови перспективи во животот, многу нови познанства, нови пријателства, некои од нив веќе завршија, некои можеби ќе траат подолго, но убавите спомени ќе останат вечно во нашите мисли и срца. Можностите се насекаде, препознајте ја вистинската, грабнете ја и создадете ја вашата приказна.

kur po pregaditesha për trajnimin në Belgjikë dhe për herë të fundit e lexoja imejlin e organizatorit. ajo që ishte e çuditshme në lidhje me të, është se të gjithë pjesëmarrësit duhej të mirrnin një gur me vete. e mor-ra një dhe e pyesja veten pse do të na duhet ky gur. Që nga dita e parë, duhej ta shfaqim dhe ta ruanim me vete gjatë tërë kohës, në fakt, ajo ishte një ndër rregullat kryesore. Në fund fare e zbuluam përrallën e bukur për gurin. Kësaj here nuk do t’jua rrëfej përral-lën e shkurtër të gurit, por timen.Çdo gjë filloi më 4 shkurt 2014, kur 28 pjesëmarrës nga 7 shtete të ndryshme, në moshë prej 18 deri më 56 vjeç, u mblodhën në dilbek, një fshat i bukur në afërsi të Brukselit në Belgjikë. Qëndruam atje 8 ditë për tra-jnimin “Get ready for the future” (Pregaditu për të ar-dhmen). trajnimi ishte në lidhje me udhëheqjen e pro-jekteve, për t’i pregaditur të rinjtë për punëtorët e rinj të cilët angazhohen me grupet e margjinalizuara për programin e ri erasmus+. Ky ishte trajnimi im i parë nga programi youth in action (rinia në aksion), njëko-hësisht dhe një përvojë e paharrueshme për mua. Për herë të parë në jetë isha në ambient të mbyllur një javë të tërë, dhe aspak nuk u mërzita. Kjo javë ishte krejt-sisht e ndryshme nga përvojat e mia të deriatëhershme jashtë shtetit. Shumica nga shoqëria ime mendonin që jam në një udhëtim të rëndomtë, por ky ishte një tra-jnim serioz dhe i përgjegjshëm. Në mënyrë joformale, me punëtori, loja, prezantime, teatër, mësuam shumë gjëra rreth udhëheqjes së projekteve, njëkohësisht duke zhvilluar aftësitë e të shkruarit, me qëllim që në të ardhmen të jemi të aftë vetë të bëjmë një projekt të suksesshëm. Përveç pjesës së punës, duhet ta për-mend dhe zbavitjen që kishim këtu. Në këtë projekt kishim shumë çaste interesante dhe zbavitëse. Çdo natë në barin e hostelit tonë kënaqeshim duke pirë birrë të shijshme, duke luajtur lojëra të ndryshme dhe duke rrëfyer ngjarje nga jeta. Nata ndërkombëtare, dita e lirë në Bruksel dhe ahengu i fundit ishin defini-tivisht pjesa më e mirë.Ky trajnim më solli shumë perspektiva të reja në jetë, shumë njerëz të rinj, shoqëri të reja, disa prej tyre veçse mbaruan e disa ndoshta do të zgjasin më tepër, por kujtimet e mira do të mbeten gjithmonë në mend-jen dhe zemrën tonë. Mundësitë gjenden kudo, njiheni atë të vërtetën, rrëmbejeni dhe krijoni tregimin tuaj.

When i pinned all the places i have visited it made me think that even if i was in Paris 3 times i don’t know much about France itself because there are so many re-gions i still have to explore. another cool feature is the stories - people write their ex-perience of some place and add their own pictures. like this you can get some really in-teresting information which you can’t find in any tourist guide. there are even some other features, like a huge library of links to trav-el blogs or any touristic information which might be useful. you can even add your link and make your blog visible. this platform full of travelers gives me a lot of opportunities, information and motiva-tion for travelling. the small competition with my friends about number of visited countries is inspiring and pushes me to ex-plore the world even more. SWAn LAke: She’S ALive, AS if nothinG hAPPeneD

the most classical of the classical ballets. one of the most famous also, espe-

cially since the release of the movie Black Swan, with Nata-lie Portman.

Swan lake is for many peo-ple something like the king of the ballets. and yet, the choreography is not the most impressive or catchy, the cos-tumes and the set are often very sober, only the main melody is quite well known but not as well as other tchai-kovsky’s master pieces…

then, what make Swan lake so special? the deepness of its dramatic plot. it is a ballet where dancers can express feelings and not only show performances.

Criteria of quality are not only how high they jump and how pirouettes they can make on point shoes. it’s also and mainly, how naïve looks the Prince and how frightening is the wizard? how sensitive seems to be odette, whereas odilia is sexy?

in this Macedonian version of Swan lake, the choreogra-pher Victor Jeremenko chose to change the story into a fam-ily-oriented show. all of it was only a nightmare? a happy end with Swan lake!? if it is not completely new, it is very rare! So no tears in the Macedonian opera and Ballet. i don’t know if it was a good or bad idea, but it was a real surprise.

The Macedonian Opera and Ballet showed two performance of the ballet Swan Lake, in february and march. On the programme: good but not perfect dancers, a muddled preparation, and a big surprise about the story.

We liked... this ballet was thought for everybody, not only the richest elite as i can be in many other countries where the tickets’ price is over 60€. the choreographer managed to surprise us with an original ending and with some special effects with movie projections. the costumes. especially the one of the bad wizard, black and shinning at the same time; the first costume of the Prince, very simple and natural; and at the very beginning the “half-white, half black” tutu.

Didn’t like... the lack of homogeneity in the corps de ballet, the group of non-solo performers who are supposed to look similar. For instance it was a bit disturbing when only one white swan –and not the princess- had a costume different from the others. They weren’t made up similarly either. as the choreographer dared to change the synopsis, he could have dared to change a bit the choreography in order to modernize it, and to adapt it to his dancers’ capacities and preferences. that the musicians stopped just after of the Black Swan coda, the most impressive mo-ment. Was it a mistake? or was this a trick to push the audience to applause and give the bal-lerina time to catch her breath?

Once upon a time...Let’s summarize the plot, invented by Tchaikovsky thanks to old Russian tales:

A girl, Odette, has been bewitched and is transformed in a white swan except during nights. The Prince, Siegfried, sees her at the lake and (of course) falls in love. She is afraid first -because he was at the lake to hunt swans, but also because she has a very delicate heart- but fall in love too (of course). At the palace, his mother the Queen organizes a ball so that he can choose a princess (nothing very original, exactly like in Cinderella). He re-fuses all the candidates because he loves Odette. But Rodbart (kind of Aladdin’s Jafar, of-ficially the Prince’s counselor and secretly a bad wizard) shows up with another candidate, his daughter: Odilia, the black swan. He made her perfectly similar to Odette (the two characters are often played by the same ballerina) and with bit more of black magic, the Prince forgets his promises at the lake and ask the black swan to marry him. This betrayal breaks the heart of Odette who, from one version to another, kill herself, become a swan forever, or something else sad…

од премиерното пуштање на филмот “Црниот лебед”, со Натали Портман. “Лебедовото езеро”, за многумина е нешто како крал на балетот. Меѓутоа, неговата кореографија не е толку импресивна или привлечна, костимите и сцената често се воздржани, само главната мелодија е прилично добро позната, но не толку колку другите маестрални дела на Чајковски...Тогаш, што го прави овој балет толку посебен? Длабочината на неговото дејствие. Тоа е балет, во кој танчерите можат да изразуваат чувства, а не само да ја покажат изведбата. Критериум за квалитет не е само тоа колку високо можат да скокнат и какви пируети на балетанки можат да изведат. Исто така, и најважно е колку наиво изгледа принцот и колку застрашувачки волшебникот? Колку сензитивна е Одет, а пак колку Одилиа е секси?Во оваа македонска верзија на Лебедовото езеро, кореографот, Виктор Јеременко избра да ја смени приказната во семејно ориентирано шоу. Дали целото ова беше само еден кошмар? Среќен крај во Лебедовото езеро? Доколку не е комплетно ново, сигурно е многу ретко! Значи немаше солзи во Македонската опера и балет. Не знам дали тоа беше добра или лоша идеја, но се чинеше како вистинско изненадување.

Македонската опера и балет прикажаа две изведби на балетот “Лебедово езеро“, во февруари и март. На програмата: добри но не одлични танчери, конфузна подготовка и големо изненадување околу приказната.

Ми се допадна...- Тоа што овој баллет е осмислен за секого, не само за најбогатата елита, како што јас можам да видам во многу држави, каде што билетите за овој балет се над 60 евра. - Тоа што кореографот успеа да нè изненади со оригинална завршница и некои специјални ефекти со проекции на филм.- Костумите. Особено тој на лошиот волшебник, црн и блескав во исто време; првиот костим на принцот, многу едноставен и природен, и на самиот почеток “полубелиот и полуцрниот” туту.

Не ми се допадна...- недостаток од хомогеност во структурата на балетот, групата на не-соло изведувачи, кои би требало да изгледаат слично. На пример, беше малку вознемирувачки, кога само белиот лебед – и не принцезата – имаа костуми различни од другите. Тие исто така не ни беа направени да бидат слични. - Како што кореографот се осмелил да го смени синопсисот, тој можел и да се осмели да ја смени малку кореографијата со цел да ја модернизира и да ја адаптира до капацитетите и преференците на неговите танчери. - Тоа што музичарите застанаа токму по извикот на црниот лебед, најимпресивниот момент. Беше грешка? Или пак беше трик да се поттикне публиката да аплаудира и да и даде шанса на балерината да си го поврати здивот?

Некогаш одамна...Да го сумираме дејствието, измислено од Чајковски, благодарение на старите руски

бајки: Една девојка, Одет била маѓепсана и претворена во бел лебед, освен за време на ноќите. Принцот, Сигфрид ја видел кај езерото и (се разбира) се заљубил. Таа прво се исплашила бидејќи тој дошол кај езерото да лови лебеди, но исто така и бидејќи имала деликатно срце, но и таа се заљубила (се разбира). Во палатата, неговата мајка, кралицата, организирала бал, за тој да може да избере принцеза (ништо многу оригинално, исто како и во Пепелашка). Тој ги одбива сите кандидатки бидејќи тој ја сака Одет. Но, Родбарт (нешто како Аладиновиот Џафар, официјално бил принцовиот советник, а и лош волшебник тајно) се појавува со уште една кандидатка: неговата ќерка Одилија, црниот лебед. Тој ја претворил неа идентично како Одет (двата карактери често се играни од една балерина) и со малку повеќе црна магија, принцот заборава на неговите ветувања кај езерото и го замолува црниот лебед да се омажи за него. Ова и го крши срцето на Одет, која од една верзија во друга, се убива, останува засекогаш лебед или нешто друго тажно...

have you ever been to Macedonia? or maybe i should ask if you know where it is? have you ever heard of erasmus + (youth in action Programme) projects all around europe?

What can unite young representatives for 10 days and make them work hard; celebrate birthdays and Women’s day? it is easy to answer if you are one of the core team members. this is “NFe: let the young people learn” training course that has just been held in a small picturesque hotel on the beach of ohrid lake in a touristic town – Struga. it is not my first time to come here but i always love coming back. every time brings to my life new friends, new experience, new memories full of joy, smiles, happy moments and, of course, knowledge about the world we live in, that will help not only me but all the new generation of europe live a life with awareness about different aspects of life and keep our eyes open to all that surrounds us.this time we are all here in Struga to learn and share in-formation and skills connected with alternative ways for education. the beginning is to get to know each other, to make a team or a family that is able to cooperate and work together. We must adjust to the environment we ourselves provide to the project venue. For those of us who are expe-riencing the project atmosphere for the first time it is a thrill or an option to fight some personal fears but the real aim is to build an open society piece by piece, step by step so that we don’t face so many stereotypes but focus on the individ-

ual personality. after we surpassed the adjustment time here in “NFe: let the young people learn” we faced the differ-ences between the formal, non formal and informal education. through several activities we experienced what is what and which type of education will bring a better education to future generations, as with the development of the world we all share for all that is old comes the time to be changed by something better and more useful and fitting to the needs of life.in case some of us came here to share their own experience we were happy to provide a stage to show what they know. We originally called it “open space” but it turned out to be a great combination of workshops connected with topics rang-ing from a healthy lifestyle to the cre-ative use of social media, from creative writing to self-branding methods. Since we already knew a lot about new learn-ing possibilities it was also good to try ourselves to create some new activities which can be implemented in the youth projects.the outcome was fascinating. as a per-son who is in the eramus + (youth in ac-tion Programme) family for years i can say that some really great new practices were born here in Struga. … it is just a new day here in Struga, we are starting to

come to the workshop room but… What is going on? Why is the room locked?We are slowly going into a new problem that faces all types of education-discri-mintation. through a simulation games we put ourselves into other people’s reality. and it is hard to believe but it’s true, there are many people around us judged by their background and usually it’s a negative discrimination unfortu-nately. and we are all here on these train-ings with one main point that goes to all sorts of events youth in action provides-it is the idea of being all together and to prove we can work all together no mat-ter where we come from and what reality is facing us. We are here in a family that doesn’t reject or exclude but to fight dis-crimination in our societies we should keep promoting this idea.For me personally the core of this ac-tions is to unite people and the topics of all projects are just a piece that we put a stress on but after we are all here to-gether and we have a world together to make it better.if you doubt trying just come and meet people who may be claimed your enemies in the society and discover that we are all only the new generation of this world that is trying hard to be better and united instead of fighting.

euroPeAn citizenShiP AS A WAy to foSter SociAL coheSion AnD euroPeAn inteGrAtion

People, surrounded by obligations in a strained society, tend to stand indifferent to social exclusion, corruption and injustice thus putting a mask protective of their social status. So, how does a training course make a difference to a fact as solid as this? What it offers is temp-tation. it triggers your perception. it asks you dangerous questions. it changes your reality.

it slaps you in the face. and you love it. i know that only because recently i attended my first train-ing- european Citizenship as a Way to Foster Social Cohesion and european integration in Prishtina, Kosovo. during the training- energizers, sessions, team work, hanging out- i gained knowledge in life that you cannot learn from books. rather, you read living books. We had ten of them on our train-ing library and me, Sanja and Filip were chapters in the Macedonian one, merging with the Serbian, Croatian, Slovenian, Bosnian, turkish, estonian, German, albanian and Kosovan made a combination of knowledge, skills, experiences and personalities. thus, we defined euro-pean Citizenship as a mental concept of equality through our cultural ex-periences. in addition, we recognized several dimensions of social exclusion as unemployment, unequal access to education, political and social life etc through our personal experiences. But what makes the difference is that we offered possible solutions by our own project management. the train-ing filled us with positive energy and enthusiasm and raised our awareness so that we can act when we go back by participation from the local to the european level. take a minute after work and think about exclusion. take another minute until you realize you are surrounded by it. and do some-thing about it. you can’t be neutral on a moving train.

Луѓето, опкружени со обврски во ограничено општество,имаат тенденција да се индиферентни наспроти социјалното исклучување, корупцијата и неправдата на тој начин што си ставаат маска која го штити нивниот социјален статус. Тогаш, како една обука менува една ситуација толку цврсто одредена како оваа? Она што го нуди обуката е искушение. Си игра со вашата перцепција.

Ви поставува опасни прашања. Ви ја менува реалноста. Ви удира шамар. А вие го обожавате тоа. Го знам ова бидејќи неодамна имав прилика да присуствувам на мојот прв тренинг- Европското Државјанство како начин да се промовира Социјално Вклучување и Европска Интеграција во Приштина, Косово. За време на обуката, преку енергични игри, сесии, тимска работа и дружба, стекнав знаење кое не може да се прочита во книга. Наместо тоа, како да читаш жива книга. Ние имавме десет книги во нашата тренинг библиотека во која јас, Сања и Филип бевме поглавја во македонската. Нашата, во комбинација со српската, хрватската,

словенската, босанската, турската, естонската, германската, албанската и косоварската - направија еден спој на знаење, вештини, искуства и карактери. Така, го дефиниравме Европското Државјаноство како ментален концепт на еднаквост преку нашите културни искуства. Исто така, препознавме неколку форми на социјално исклучување како невработеност, нееднаков пристап кон образованието, политички и социјален живот и друго преку нашите лични искуства. Но, она што ја менува ситуацијата е тоа што понудивме можни решенија преку пишување и обработка на наши сопствени проекти. Тренингот нè исполни со позитивна енергија и ентузијазам и ни ја подигна свеста за да можеме да реагираме кога ќе се вратиме назад. Издвојте една минута после работа и размислете за социјалното исклучување. Издвојте уште една додека не сфатите дека сте опкружени со него. И направете нешто во врска со тоа. Не можете да сте индиферентни на воз кој ви се приближува.

The International Space Apps Challenge is a two-day hackathon where teams of technologists, scientists, designers, art-ists, educators, entrepreneurs, developers

and students across the globe collaborate and engage with publicly available data to design in-novative solutions for global challenges.The project is being held in Macedonia for the second time, and this year it is co-organized by a lot of student organizations that cover the University “St. Kiril and Metodij”, like: Student Parliament FINKI, Student Parliament FEIT, Stu-dent Parliament UKM, Student Parliament MFS, IAESTE, EESTEC and BEST Skopje, and we are ex-pecting involvement from organizations from Bi-tola, Stip and Tetovo.Who can be part of the project?Anyone can be part of this project. The diversity of the experience, knowledge and practice of the participants will create better solutions. The event stimulates innovative problem solving through massive collaboration with only one goal, to cre-ate open-source solutions for global challenges. Why “NASA Space Apps Challenge”?As a participant you will have the unique oppor-

tunity to work on challenges directly given by NASA, in a working teams formed with mentors and experts from Macedonia and the world, with other talented participants and with data that will be available especially for this happening, only to enable for the youth to acquire valuable experi-ence and to create meaningful results.
