March @ the Library BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP Thursday Mar. 10 1:30pm Read or listen to any book of Bill Bryson’s (the world’s funniest travel writer”) entertaining books covering the origins of the English language to the marvels of rural America and beyond, and join us for a lively discussion! The program is free and new participants are always welcome. Babytime Tuesdays 9:30am An introduction to action & nursery rhymes, songs, and books in a one-on-one setting for parents and their babies, newborn - 18-months. Children's Storytime Wednesdays 9:30am Designed for toddlers, pre-schoolers and their parents. Featuring guest military readers from right here at Luke, and a fun craft is included each week. Storytime Special Wednesday March 9 9:30am The first eight (8) families to attend Children’s Storytime will receive March’s featured book, “Hippos are HUGE!” by Jonathan London. Participants will also make a craft. FREE PHOTOGRAPHY CLASSES These FREE three-hour digital photography classes teach participants how to take fun, creative photos, and cover topics including camera settings, framing, focusing, and lighting. Classes meet on Saturdays, Mar. 19 and Apr. 16 from 10am-1pm; and on Wednesdays, Mar. 2, and Apr. 6 from 9:30am-12:30pm. Register one week before each class. Please bring camera that has AV or A control to class. Cameras are available at the Arts & Crafts Center for check out.
