Core Curriculum Implementation• Two of the five parent hours each month.• Classes may be done in group session or at
bedside. • We will provide the speaker with the
guidelines and all forms needed for each class.
• We will assist in promoting any and all classes.
Our goals for NICU Family Support at VMC
We want to:‒ be someone there for the families to relate
and talk to ‒ help nursing with the families , especially
when they’re busy‒ create an environment where families feel
welcomed and comfortable‒ help with educating families and share with
them our own experiences
