take a loss, the ''Liberation" isn't going too well. It is quite pretty here & the weather seems to be cooling off
some, \tspecially at .night. Usually when I mention weather it changes that day, for the worse. The mosquitoes aren't too bad
. in this country, During the day it has been too hot for them & the last few nights have been too cold. The :rv~aine mosoqitnor; are worse in the spring (but Maine mosquitoes don't carry malaria)
There is a rumor that this Brigade is supposed to have 2, 000 replacements by the end 6f this month, I. hope it's true, if it is rotation will go smoothly~
We havebeenawayfrom PhanRang for 2 months & since we've )eengone the Air Force has completed a 10,000 foot runway thai they started last Ncvember. They have moved in a lot ·of Jet Fighters & are said to be making room for Bombers, that a r ea is growing up so fast .tla t we will hardly recognise it when.we ge t back. I guess it's going to be one of the largest bases in V. N. When we get to_ Phan Rang it was nothing but a big valley with very little in it.
Say Hello to everyone for me. Love to all, David
