Come and experience our extraordinary musical camps for the musician in your family. Each progam is taught by professional musicians and educators, and are held in our new 2000 sq. ft. facility dedicated towards these wonderful programs. Are you currently taking music lessons? If so, we also have a program for you. Whether you’re looking to build on the instrument that you are currently studying, or give some-thing new a try. Maybe mix with some students on different instruments to form a rock band with others your age and level. Check out what these wonderful programs have to offer!

Is your child showing aninterest in the learning of a musical instrument?

SUMMER CAMPSNo previous musical training required (child must be potty trained). Let us inspire your child with the joy of music. Each day we discover new songs and stories, while introducing notation and exploring a variety of instruments, musical arts and crafts, resulting in a fi nal performance on the last day of each week of camp!

No previous musical training required. This is an introductory music camp which will allow children to discover the language of music through piano as well as exposure to the social aspect of camp. This will in turn connect children with new friends that have similar musical interests. Working together in class will help them to develop a stronger relationship with their musical abilities. A final performance showcasing their hard work over the course of the week will take place on the last day of camp!

No previous musical training required. Is your child interested in music? Enjoy instrument exploration, karaoke, music themed crafts and games. Half Day camps run from 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. ($30.00). Full Day camps run from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. ($50.00)

No previous musical training required. Is your child interested in music? Not sure which instrument to choose? Try our instrumental sampler camp! Campers will participate in group piano, violin, and guitar/ukulele classes, and will also be introduced to hand drumming and singing. A perfect way to help choose which instrument will be the best for lessons in September. A fi nal performance showcasing their hard work over the course of the week will take place on the last day of each week of camp.

No previous musical training required. Attention parents! Are you tired of your kids banging on anything and everything? This performance program will explore an exciting blend of movement and sound! Students will work with a variety of percussion instruments and learn choreographed movement to result in a fi nal performance on the last day of camp. A great opportunity as well for our drum students to be able to explore a variety of percussion instruments which they don’t have a chance to play on a week to week basis.

No previous musical training required. The Guitar Mania camp is a fun and entertaining guitar camp that will have all the campers fall in love with the guitar and the many possibilities that the guitar has to offer. From playing chords, recognizing notes and learning to compose simple songs, to making friends, learning to jam and having a good time. A great opportunity as well for your child currently enrolled in private guitar classes to experience working in an ensemble environment. Music will be selected to adhere to guitarists at all levels, from beginner to advanced. A final performance showcasing their hard work over the course of the week will take place on the last day of camp!

Party goers will have loads of fun with a variety of instruments, dance their heart away, sing some karaoke and take some pictures, all while wearing or playing with a variety of amusing props. Party favours include a special present for the Guest of Honour as well as free Conservatory music lesson vouchers for guests.

No previous musical training required. Love to sing? Join us for a week of singing, dancing, and fun! Learn vocal harmonies and fun in the spotlight. This week long camp will bring together so much wonderful talent resulting in a fi nal performance on the last day of camp!

Minimum of 1 year private instruction. Want to play in a band? Rock out with us, as camperswill work with a band of peers in preparation for a fi nal concert on the last day of each week of camp. Workshops on songwriting, technique and musicianship will take your skills to the next level. Students of the guitar, bass, drums, piano, violin and voice are welcome, with a minimum of 1 year of instruction required. Drums, keyboards, and amplifi ers will be provided. Our coaches will help you reach your full potential. This is a great way to get ready for the stage. We will record a number of our jam sessions throughout the week and make them available for our campers. Students will be divided up into groups based on their ages and levels.

Our Friday and Saturday “date night” events are a great opportunity for mom & dad to reconnect while kids have a blast with us at the Niagara Conservatory of Music. Take advantage of our downtown location and enjoy dinner and a show at the Performing Arts Centre, or perhaps check out the excitement at a Niagara IceDogs or River Lions game. Or simply relax and enjoy a well-deserved break.

Drop your child off from 6pm – 10pmand theyʼll have the opportunity to participate in music games, instrument play, and karaoke. Weʼll have pizza and veggies for dinner as well as snacks throughout the evening. Towards the end of the evening, weʼll get comfy for a movie and some popcorn!

What is the Music Gives Movement?Enabling many children to gain a sense of accomplishment, confi dence and increased self-esteem. We help children who otherwise would not be given an opportunity to fi nd their inner musician. Music Gives Movement partners with Pro Kids to assist a number of children in Niagara from low income families experience the gift of music.

What is Pro Kids?Pro Kids is an organization affi liated with the YMCA that funds extra-curricular activities for families that are in need. Financial disadvan-tages shouldn’t keep anyone from participating in music!
