Esperanza is a Christian nonprofit organization that fosters economic and integral development of the most

impoverished families and communities in the Dominican Republic and Haiti, providing not only capital, but

access to education, preventative health care, spiritual and social development services.

This is an unpaid internship and will require travel to the Dominican Republic. Through this position, the stu-

dent will become an ambassador of Esperanza to borrowers, donors and all stakeholders through research-

Marketing Internship – Chicago, IL area – Summer 2015

QAD is a leading provider of enterprise applications for global manufacturing companies specializing in automotive, consumer products, electronics, food and beverage, industrial and life sciences products. QAD applications provide critical functionality for managing manufacturing resources and operations within and beyond the enterprise, enabling global manufacturers to collaborate with their customers, suppliers and partners to make and deliver the right product, at the right cost and at the right time. While QAD is headquartered in Santa Barbara, CA, they are recruiting for a marketing internship that will be lo-cated in their North America Central office in Lisle, IL just west of Chicago.

The person in this internship role will help support the North American Marketing Team, learn about mar-keting strategy and execution, in a hands-on and collaborative environment. The intern will report and work directly for the Senior Marketing Manager, North America. They are seeking internship candidates with the following qualifications:

Open to any business major, but marketing and supply chain are closest fit

Computer skills: MS Office proficiency a plus (not required)

Organized and detail oriented

Some knowledge sales/marketing campaign development and execution a plus (not required)

Some knowledge of ERP or supply chain management software a plus (not required)

Open to current sophomore or juniors

No GPA minimum, but looking for students with great work ethic and initiative

The Digital Marketing Intern is responsible for supporting our Digital Marketing Managers in conception, implementa-

tion and analysis of all digital initiatives. This includes website, blog, social media, email, paid search, media buying
