Trivia Contest & Fun
On Saturday, March 9, Philoptochos will host an evening of Trivia with prizes, fun and an opportunity to help efforts to feed the hungry. Gather a team of 4-8 people or be placed on a team upon arrival. $20 per adult/$5 per child under 16. A movie (PG) will be played for interested kids in the teen room.
Price includes trivia, hors d'oeuvres and drinks. Trivia by Challenge Entertainment.
Proceeds will go toward the Soup Kitchen, Wheeler Mission meals and Thanksgiving food certificates. Sponsorships appreciated
(minimum $100). Reservations can be made after Divine Liturgy in the Founders’ Walk or by calling the Cathedral Office. RSVP by

Missions Breakfast The first Missions Breakfast of 2019 is TODAY, Sunday, March 3 after Divine Liturgy. The menu is French Toast Casserole, Eggs, Hash Browns, Sausage, Fruit, Cereal, Milk, and Juice. The cost is $7 per person at the door (kids under 5 eat free). Those thinking about going on a mission trip should save March 2 - 3 and May 18 - 19 for the set-up, serving, and cleanup of the Mission Breakfasts. Participation in the fundraisers qualifies Holy Trinity Cathedral Stewards to receive a subsidy, deferring the mission trip cost. Church School March 3: Mission Box Collection begins
March 10: 1st-6th graders will look for Helen by the Chanter's Stand to sing hymns after receiving Holy Communion. These same hymns will be sung for Metropolitan Nicholas' visit.
March 17: Sunday of Orthodoxy - no class but the 1st-6th graders will sing hymns after receiving Communion for Metropolitan Nicholas's visit.
March 24: Lenten Service project.
March 31: Sunday of the Cross - class begins at 9:30am. 1st-6th sing Communion hymns

Large Liturgical Furniture
New large liturgical furniture is the last project identified in the Spring 2014 survey. Our goal is to raise the funds by the beginning of Great Lent (March 11), ensuring their delivery before Easter (April 28). The General Assembly approved the $65,000 project. To date we have raised $54,205. This project will complete the enhancement of our magnificent Church. All glory to God!!

Holy Trinity Lenten Psalms Reading Group Each participant in this Lenten Psalms Reading Group is assigned to a Kathisma (a specific reading assignment of selected Psalms). He/she will read the designated Kathisma each day during Great Lent. When each Kathisma is read each day by everyone, the entire Book of the Psalms is read by the group every day throughout the Fast. Along with the Kathisma, each person will pray the Trisagion Prayers and pray for everyone in the group by name. These prayers are offered individually in the privacy of everyone's home. Reading assignments will be emailed before Clean Monday (March 11). Deadline to sign up is Wednesday, March 6.
Parables of Christ
Bible Study Join us for a five-part Bible Study series led by Father Lucas, where we explore the Parables of Christ through presentations and discussion. We will meet on Tuesday evenings at 7pm from March 19 - April 16.
Prayer Readers Needed During the Salutations to the Theotokos on Fridays, March 15, 22, 29 & April 5 at 6:30pm, prayers will be read in front of the icon of Christ and the Theotokos. Volunteers who are 14 years old and older may contact Dean Maniakas or the Cathedral Office if interested.

Flowers for the Salutations Service

Confession for GOYAns
On Saturday, March 16, the Sacrament of Confession will be available to any Junior GOYAn or Senior GOYAn from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Please contact the Parish Office at 317-733-3033 by noon on Thursday, March 16 to reserve a time. This Sacrament is available to any GOYAn wishing to participate and seeking to free themselves of any burden.
Hymnology
Our Church School Hymnology class students in Grades 1 – 6 will sing during Holy Communion on the Sunday of Orthodoxy, March 17. The children have worked very hard learning hymns to glorify God in His Church.
AHEPA Book Discussion The Order of AHEPA James Whitcomb Riley Chapter No. 232 and Daughters of Penelope Laertes Chapter No. 212 are proud to announce that they will be hosting author Andrea Neal, for a discussion on her latest book “Pence – The Path to Power”, a biography on former Indiana Governor and current Vice President Mike Pence in the library at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 7 - 9pm. Light snacks and drinks will be served at the event. All are welcome.
