THOUGHTS FROM BRAD
Hello Everyone! I want to use my article this weekto clear up any confusion of future modificationshere at FACC. We continue with plans to move oursecond worship service to the fellowship hall laterthis spring.
One goal for this transition is to have theability to be more creative in our secondworship hour. With an open floor space, wecan set up the room however we need toenhance our worship experience for thatparticular day.
Another goal we have is to create anatmosphere that creates more communityamongst the body of Christ.
Our ultimate goal is to reach more people forChrist, regardless of their age. We willhowever use this opportunity to reachyounger families in this community.
During this transition, we plan to update thatspace by painting the walls with attractivecolors, and we intend to replace the hardmetal chairs with nice cushioned chairs whichwill be utilized by any and all events in thatspace. Pledges are currently being acceptedin the lobby for the purchase of the chairs. Ifyou want to help with this need, weencourage you to be a donor. Your donationwill benefit all here at FACC. Our goal is to beable to buy 100. After two weeks ofadvertising, I am pleased to see we alreadyhave pledges to buy 36 chairs. Several haveindicated they will donate multiple chairs. Weknow not everyone can do that, but weencourage you to purchase one so that we
can meet our goal. Thanks for your help! Thechairs cost $30.
If you are hearing rumors about these changes, letme once again encourage you to come to me withany questions you may have about this transition orany modifications. I will be more than happy tospeak with you.
In His Service,
Brad

Last week in Childrens Church, we learned about wheJesus was betrayed by two of His close friends! Judabetrayed Jesus with a kiss and then Peter denied Jesu
three times! Can you imagine having a friend for threyears and then betraying you that way?
We decided as a class, that no amount of silver coincould ever be enough for us to betray Jesus. And wdecided that we will never be ashamed and certainnever deny our love for Jesus!
I am so proud of every kid in our class because they arso incredibly smart, sweet and in love with Jesus!

SCOTTS THOUGHTS
In preparation for Palm Sunday and Easter, was reading through the Gospel of MathewWhen I got to chapter 21 and the account oJesus triumphal entry I see Jesus beinwelcomed into Jerusalem by crowds who laitheir garments on the road so the donkey Jesu
was riding would not have to walk in the dirOthers cut branches from palm trees to pave throads for the coming of Christ. They shoutehosanna and Praise God for the Son o
David! Blessings on the one who comes in thname of the Lord! Praise God in higheheaven!
The very next verses show Jesus confronting thmoneychangers in the temple, driving them ou
and knocking their tables and chairs to thground. This had been a family business meanto make it possible for those traveling at distance from their homes to offer the necessarsacrifices. Over the years the purpose shifted tbeing a source of income and the point had beeforgotten to the point that Jesus described it as den of thieves.
Receiving Christ is a joyous event and should bcelebrated with shouting and singing, bumaking Jesus Lord of your life will always brinchange, abolish standard ways of thinking ancall us to refocus on what matters. In this seasoof resurrection, what is God wanting to maknew in your life? What tables need overturned isurrender to Jesus? Will you and I allow Jesus t
reign in our hearts and make us new?
