online, or pay bills. You must register at the
KC front desk to use the computer.

KC Senior Center staff will help you learn
how to use your device. This is not tech
repair, but a step by step on how to use your

Exercise Mon/Wed/Fri 8:00am-9:00am
This is a group exercise class, that is led by a volunteer
following a Richard Simmons workout video. It is low
impact and designed for all mobility levels.
Fit After 50 Mon/Thu/Fri 9:00am-10:00am
Fit After 50 is a exercise program with emphasis on
improving strength, balance, and mobility. This class is
offered by Riverside County Office on Aging.
Chair Volleyball 4th Thurs 1:00pm-2:30pm
Enjoy the rush of a friendly game of chair volleyball.
Suitable for all ages and mobility. New members are
always welcomed.
Ping Pong Club Tues 9:00am-10:15am
Come and join in on some fun in recreation Ping
Pong. Don't worry about age or playing level, the
club is one where anyone of any level can play!
Wii Bowling Thurs 1:00pm-2:30pm
Come enjoy a fun low impact activity! It is great fun
for bowlers of all skill levels. No experience necessary.
Karaoke 3rd Thurs. 1:00pm-2:30pm
Get those vocal cords warmed up and enjoy an
afternoon of singing to your favorite songs! No

Come socialize, show off your unique work, share
tips, and join in the fun! For experienced to novice
quilters. New participants are always welcome.

drawing, painting and soft pastels. Participants will
be responsible for bringing own supplies. Class is
led by a volunteer instructor.

learning how to sign. Class is lead by retired sign
language interpreter Lois Lundquist.

Ceniceros Senior Center. All are welcome and

The following programs are supported by the KC Senior Center but are hosted by outside agencies:
Join us for Lunch!
Kay Ceniceros Senior Center offers a congregate
meal from Monday-Friday at 11:30 am. This is
offered by County of Riverside, via federal
funding, provided by Family Services Association
(FSA). Suggested donation: $3; under 60 years of
age: $7. Residents must call the day before at
(951) 679-0119 to make a reservation. First time
visit will require you to fill out a participant
application.
Bereavement Group
This is a support group hosted by Hospice of the
Valleys. To sign-up or for more information,
please contact staff at (951) 200-7800 prior to
attending the first meeting. Group meetings are
held on Mondays in eight week sessions.
Blues Club
Join a group of seniors and share mutual
understanding and support as we face life’s daily
challenges as well as those times of real stress
and survival. The group meets on Thursdays at
9:00am. No Registration Required.
Care Pathways
Are you a family member caring for an older
adult? Riverside County Office on Aging is
hosting a series of free family caregiver
workshops. These series of twelve classes will
provide much needed information & support as
you continue through the caregiving journey.
Pre-registration is required and space is limited!

HICAP
Residents receive free objective information and
counseling about Medicare. Volunteer counselors
can help you understand your specific rights and
health care options. Available 2nd and 4th
Thursday of the month from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

Legal Aide
Inland Counties Legal Services, Inc. organization
providing legal services to low-income persons
residing in Riverside and San Bernardino
Counties. Services include advice and counsel,
limited action (includes negotiations and
preparation of legal documents), as well as direct
representation before administrative law and civil
courts. Appointments are required, so please call
(951) 368-2555.
LiHEAP
The Low Income Home Energy Assistance
Program (LIHEAP) helps families with energy
costs. A representative from the Community
Action Agency’s LiHEAP program will be at the
center on the 2nd Monday of each month from
12:30pm to 3:30pm. Please call Community

Notary Public Service– FREE
Miller-Jones Mortuary provides a no cost
notarization and will provide assistance with
General power of Attorney and Advance Health
Care directive signing. Services offered third
Tuesday of each month.
Parkinson's Support Group
The goal of the monthly meetings is to provide a
safe, confidential location for people with
Parkinson’s Disease to come, ask questions, and
find answers for their disease. Meetings will be
held the second Friday of the Month. To register

Riverside County Office on Aging
The Riverside County Office on Aging serves to
promote and support a life of dignity, well-being
and independence for older adults and persons
with disabilities. For information on care support,
caregiving and other Senior services please call 1-

Senior Low Vision Program
The Community Access Center provides services
for seniors with low vision. Learn to explore ways
to utilize phones and other equipment that will
help you with your low visibilities. They will also
supportive services and independent living skills
training. For more information, contact the

Riverside County Department of Veterans
Services will now be offering assistance every
fourth Thursday of each month from 12:30pm-
3:30pm at the Kay Ceniceros Senior Center!
