Comander Jensen’s Operation Comfort Warrior Challenge

Legionnaires across the state can receive the latest Legion news and win free Legionwear simply by us-ing the Online Subscription Sign-up for the Badger Legionnaire. Sim-ply go to our website at: www.wile-gion.org. On the home page under ‘Department News’ click ‘Get Your Legion News Online’. Fill out the online subscription form and you will receive e-mail alerts, Adjutant’s Notes, messages from the Department Command-er, and, of course the Badger Legionnaire at your e-mail address.

Operation Comfort War-rior (OCW) is a National American Legion pro-gram dedicated to meet-ing the needs of wounded, injured or ill military per-sonnel by pro-viding them with comfort items not usually supplied by the government.

Commander Jensen is asking all posts to support Operation Comfort War-rior by donating funds. Severson-Cairns Post No. 501 of Madison and Mil-waukee Police Post No. 415 were the fi rst to re-

drawn to receive free items of Le-gionwear fashion apparel. Mak-ing the switch to the e-subscrip-tion service will also help the Department to save printing and postage costs! Money saved will help strengthen our much-needed Veteran’s and youth programs.
