Dear Ladies,

February has been a busy month for us WOW Ladies. First we had a marvelous Membership Tea at Nancy May's house. Nancy told me that quite a few ladies could not make it, so I am hoping that we will have another one soon. If you know anyone that joined WOW in the past year and was not invited please let Nancy know about it. We celebrated Debbie Hemenway's 8Oth birthday party and she really was Queen For A Day. Due to terrible weather Kathy Kennedy postponed our Miniature Golf Outing to February 24th We will be passing the Shoe Box for a cash collection at our March Luncheon which will be very much appreciated by the Shoe Harvest Or-ganization. We had a great turnout for our February Luncheon at Emeril’s Tchoup Chop Restaurant.

Don't forget to join our new activity, the Free Style Craft Club. Please call Mary Greene or Cindy Aeibscher for more details.

“Margaret Krass, Nancy May and Clarice Drexler make a Motion that Mrs. Rus-sell's Home Building Fund be the charity supported by West Orange Women until August 31, 2011.”

It passed by a 2 to 1 majority or the 100+ members present.

HOLIDAY BAZAAR NEWS

The Bazaar Committee for the Annual Holiday Bazaar which benefits the Rus-sell Home for Atypical Children is happy to announce we have a new "HOME", thanks to our member Joan Dullmeyer and her nephew Father Jim Sor-villo. We will use the facilities of The Episcopal Church of the Ascen-sion Church on Apopka Vineland Road. The bazaar will be the first Sat-urday in October, which is October 3rd. There is lots of room for our ven-dors and our club sales and plenty of parking. The staff at the church and Father Jim have been wonderful to work with and we look forward to a really suc-cessful relationship with them. If you want to participate as a vendor or volun-teer, please let us know. If you know anyone who would be interested in be-ing a vendor have them contact us. We would love to see how big we can make this event!

LADIES: WOW will be collecting money for the Shoe Harvest at the

March luncheon. We will pass a shoe box around at the meet-ing/luncheon The mission of Shoe Harvest is to supply new shoes as needed to every child in the Orlando/Central FL area.
