God Reconciles Us to Himself

Call to Confession (adapted from Heb. 4:14-16) When we confess our sins, we do so in recognition that Jesus has already sacrificed and

made forgiveness available to us. Hebrews 4 says, “Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven,

Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses,

but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are— yet he did not sin.

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”

In confidence of God’s mercy and grace, let us confess our sins together.

FAMILY CIRCLE: Pray for all of our seniors, those who suffer illnesses and those who are lonely or shut-in. May they feel God’s presence in their lives and may He bring healing.

YOUNG PEOPLES: We will be meeting this week on Thursday, March 24th to prepare for our

Good Friday Brunch Fundraiser. Please be at the church by 7:00 that evening to set up tables

and chairs and chop potatoes. You'll be receiving a text message with any items we need you to bring that night. (If Tara does not have your phone number please let her know what it is by

texting her at 519-917-1346.) If you are still interested in signing up for Convention it isn't too late! The price will increase again on April 15.

VBS: VBS preparations have begun. Join us this week Tuesday, March 22 beginning at 9:30 until 2:30pm to do some fun painting and preparations for VBS. Even if you can only come for

an hour or two, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!!

Upcoming Young People Fundraiser: Everyone is welcome to join us after church on Good

Friday for brunch. Cost is on a donation basis and the funds raised will help to offset the cost of all the youth we have who are attending the All Ontario Convention.

This year we will be serving egg sandwiches and home fries. Thank you!

Holy Week Services: The Holy Week Services are this week Monday, March 21 to Thursday, March 24 at Bethel Pentecostal Church. The services begin at 12:10pm and conclude at

12:30pm, with a light lunch to follow each service. The speakers for the week are Mon., March

21 – Pastor Chuck Wilson, Tues., March 22 – Pastor Josh, Wed., March 23 – Pastor Rob Browning, Thurs., March 24 – Pastor Doug Cameron. All are welcome.

FROM COUNCIL: Council is asking the congregation for nominations for office bearers. Retiring Elders are Gary DePooter and Alfred Feddes and retiring Deacons are Olga DePooter

and Brian Kraayenbrink. Please prayerfully consider who you feel are gifted for these tasks. Please submit your signed nominations to any member of council. For your convenience a table

Volunteers Needed: This year we have a number of youth who will be attending the All

Ontario Youth Convention in Waterloo. We are looking for one two people who are at least 18 years old and are willing to drive and / or stay for the weekend as a small group leader. The

convention takes place over the long weekend in May. (May 20 - 23rd) You can find out more information by visiting www.allontario.com.

Please let Matt or Tara know if you are interested in helping out. Thank you for considering this!

Cardio & Strength Training -- Come and join us on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-

7:30 pm for a fun, easy-to-follow fitness class here in the gym. Bring a towel or mat and free

weights if you have any as well as water and good running shoes. Be prepared to sweat and

laugh as we get fit together. Women only!

SPRING BAZAAR! Please join us for an evening of good food and fun at our Spring Bazaar

on Friday, April 1 at the Wallaceburg Christian Reformed Church, 150 Bruinsma Ave. There will be craft tables, bake tables, fun games for adults and children, a silent auction, delicious

homemade food and a live auction. Doors open at 4 pm, food is served from 4:30-7:00 pm,

and our live auction begins at 7 pm sharp. Admission is free. All money raised from the evening goes to support Wallaceburg Christian School. See you there! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
