    THOUGHTS FROM BRAD

March 20-Attention all men and boys! We will leave thechurch at 5 p.m. for the annual bean dinner at the HeathChurch of Christ. If you have never attended, then youneed to know this event is more than just a chance to eatbeans and homemade pie. There is always a goodmixture of special music, outstanding worship and a

challenging message from Gods word. I hope you canjoin us as we plan to leave the church at 5 p.m. Ifinterested, please let me know today.

April 5th-Random Act of Kindness event at theCommunity Action building on Main Street from 9 a.m.-noon. There will be more details to come as soon as Ireceive them. I hope you can join us in this endeavor tohelp the community.

This week I want to ask you a question and I hope thatmany of you respond back to me through e-mail. My e-mail address is [email protected] questionis: Why do many Christians seem to lack a sense offullness of life? They go to church, read their Bibles, and say their prayers but still feel something ismissing.

This is a really important question for each of us toponder in order that we become complete in Christ. I

hope you give it some serious thought before responding.

I found an interesting factoid this week that will prepareall of us for the upcoming March Madness mensbasketball tournament. According to a recent OutreachMagazine survey, the final score of the first mens collegebasketball game was 15-12 and was played in January1986.

The first womens college basketball game ended in a

score of 2-1. But that is understandable-stealing the ballwas against the rules because it was consideredunladylike. Besides that, the women had to wearclothes covering everything except their hands and face;my how times have changed.

By the way, Oregon won the first mens March Madnessin 1939 and they have not made it back to a final fourgame since. Just thought you might want to know.
