REMINDER: MBC Achievers will conduct the reading assessments this Sunday (March 12) during the morning service in the Multi-purpose Room. Please make sure your child/student is on time for their assessment. If your student is an honor roll student or you believe they are proficient in reading, they still need to do the reading assessment. SHARE distribution day is Saturday, March 25th in the Multipurpose Room from 6:45—8:45am. Extra hands are always welcome to assist in assembling the SHARE packages. Everyone is invited to MBC’s Evangelism Ministry evening of training as we equip ourselves to go therefore and make disciples on Tuesday, March 21 at 7pm in the Multipurpose Room. See the attached flyer for all the details. ************ MBC’s Foreign Missions Ministry has scheduled a brief presentation on its next missions trip and is scheduled for Thursday, March 23 at 7pm. CHOSEN Women's Ministry March Announcements: March is Women History Month and its purpose is to provide an oppor-tunity to learn about the important contributions of women and girls to our society and the quality of our lives today. With that the CHOSEN Women's Ministry of Macedonia has set aside the month of March to celebrate and encourage women: Saturday, March 18 – Still I Rise Empowerment Series: Mind Over Matter Conference (Continental Breakfast) Part I – What’s on Your Mind – Romans 8:5-7 Part II – Make up Your Mind – Colossians 3:2-5 Saturday, March 25 – Hats & Heels @ High Noon Tea and Table Deco-rating Contest – Drew Model School Sunday, March 26 – Women’s Day Worship Service: Women that Win Within (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24) As a part of our celebration on Sunday, March 26th we’re inviting all Women of Macedonia to participate in our Women’s Day Choir. Our goal this year is to have as many women as possible to join us in this effort of Unity, winning the battle within self and within the Church. Our colors for that weekend are red, black and white. The Workshop will be held on Satur-day, March 25, 2017 at Mount Zion from 9 a.m. to Noon. Mrs. Marianne Ragins, President of The Scholarship Workshop LLC, is our guest presenter. This workshop is intended for students preparing college entrance and scholarship ap-plications. Attendees are encouraged but not required to bring a draft essay along with their laptops or tablets to work on their essays during the session. Please note that space is limited for this workshop. I’m forwarding the information to friends, colleagues and Leadership Arlington alumni who I know work with exemplary students in this age range. Can you help get the word out about the Leadership Arlington Youth Pro-gram to students who are rising juniors or seniors in the summer of 2017. Be in good academic standing.

Applicants will be judged on the basis of their: • Demonstration of leadership skills in either a traditional or

non-traditional setting.

• Participation in community or family service activities.

• Involvement in extra-curricular activities.

• Communication skills.

• Recommendation from an adult reference.

Each 1st Wednesday is Corporate Prayer and Praise. Everyone is encouraged and invited to attend.

Every 2nd Wednesday of the month Pastor’s Bible Study is open to everyone.

Every 3rd Wednesday of the month Pastor’s Bible Study is open to everyone.

Each 4th Wednesday of the month Pastor’s Bible Study is open to everyone.

The 5th Wednesday of each month is Leadership Night. All leaders of MBC will meet with Pastor Hamlin.
