The project aims to increase culturally-based tourism and to create permanent means to develop and market the North Karelia and Republic of Karelia and the cities of Joensuu and Petrozavodsk as culturally attractive tourist destination.
Concrete outputs: e.g. strategy papers and development programmes, joint marketing plan between cities of Joensuu and Petrozavodsk, culture and history related contents in VisitKarelia marketing and service platform, culture and history of Joensuu as well as of Petrozavodsk in mobile applications, ”World of Kizhi” exhibition, annual calendar of culture events.
