RELATIONSHIPS: Relationships are healthy connections between students and adults in the school setting that foster positive social

interaction and establish a nurturing environment of trust and support. Our actions are expected to help maintain and strengthen

caring relationships.

Maple Creek’s 6 Rs

RULES: We have rules that focus on the behaviours we are expected to show along with

how we are expected to treat others.

Maple Creek’s 6 Rs

ROUTINES: These are the day to day things that we should learn to do automatically such as:

a. Be on time for classb. Bring all materials neededc. Don’t disturb othersd. Line up and move quietly between classese. Take out supplies and books quickly and quietlyf. Follow protocols to keep everyone safe & healthy(new added this year)

Maple Creek’s 6 Rs

RESPONSIBILITY: We are responsible for creating a caring, safe and respectful

community. We need to be aware of how our actions, positive or negative, impact others and

the school community.

Maple Creek’s 6 Rs

RIGHTS: Everyone has rights, and we depend on everyone making an effort to respect the rights of others. For example: you have the right to learn in a quiet, supportive classroom; everyone in the classroom needs to respect this right to have a positive learning environment.

RESPECT: Respect for others, Respect for the environment, Respect for ourselves… Being respectful allows for a safe, positive and caring environment for all members of the Maple Creek learning community.

As Parents, you are all members of our Parent

Advisory Council

A Message from our Parent Advisory Council Executive

The Maple Creek Middle School PAC welcomes all parents to our meetings. Each family has a vote when it comes to any decision-making. Meetings are scheduled for 7:00pm via Zoom 6 times per year . The meeting agenda and Zoom link will be sent out to parents by email the week prior. During the meetings we discuss how the PAC supports the school with funds raised and we receive updates on school business from Mr. Graham and Mr. Robertson. We are doing less fundraising this year with the pandemic restrictions but are still trying to come up with creative ways in which to do so. We are always looking for volunteers and will communicate this out to parents when needed. If you think you might like to serve on the PAC executive next year, feel free to drop into our meetings and see how things are done. We hope to see you there!
