If so, highlight the methodology. : As per the feedback of industry, the syllabi and topics to syllabi are being added through Board of Studies (BOS) by following the procedure as given below: The department has designed the syllabus for UG & PG courses after carefully selecting the topics essential to provide excellent knowledge to the students. It was discussed among the faculty members and the subject experts (other universities) in the BOS meeting. The recommended curriculum through BOS was finally approved by Faculty of Engineering & Technology (FET) and Academic Council (AC).

learning outcomes are monitored? i) Continuous assessment of students using internal assessment tests twice during a
semester. ii) By getting feedback of students, alumni and faculty. iii) Academic audit is scheduled once in a semester. iv) Internal Quality Audit is scheduled once in a year.

Weaknesses:
i) Yet to get more research projects from govt. agencies due to non-availability of NAAC result
ii) Lack of opportunities for the students in the govt. sector Opportunities: i) Provision for faculty to upgrade their qualification by financial assistance. ii) Students have option to change the branch in 3rd Semester subject to
availability of seats. iii) Flexibility for Elective Options. iv) To accelerate more research activities. v) To help more teaching professionals in the neighbouring institutions in
research and higher education.
Challenges: i) Inspiring staff to get sponsored and funded projects from government
agencies. ii) To inspire students for making use of digital media as a tool for learning. iii) Fluctuating demand in Industry. iv) Continuous effort to setup a centre of excellence laboratory in the department
for research. v) To generate funds from industry/govt. Agencies through consultancy work.

i) To strengthen industry–academia interface for exposure to latest technology that will helps to avail funded projects.
ii) Plan to organise an International conference. iii) Ensuring the maximum participation of students in Live Projects. iv) To accelerate and motivate research activities in the department.
