Welcome, and thank you for playing The Legend of Queen Opala II - Episode I-II! This is the second personal project I've been working on. It's also the sequel to the first Legend of Queen Opala game, following the story of my characters Queen Opala, her evil sister Osira and thei r mother Farah. On a final note, this game is and should always be FREE, and it contains highly adult situations, so you must be 18+ to play it! Episode II features the whole first episode and takes the adventure deeper into the plotline. Saves and the achievement file can be imported from Episode I, so make sure to c opy/paste it before continuing your adventure in case you already began back in Episode I! But donations through PayPal and feedback is most appreciated! Both can be sent to - [email protected] _________________________________________________ Legend of Queen Opala Community _________________________________________________ http://loqo.wikispaces.com/ _________________________________________________ To Get Started _________________________________________________ > Click "RPG Maker XP" to open the folder. > Start the program "RGSS-RTP_104" and install it. Once the file is installed, enter the Legend of Queen Opala II folder and you're ready to start playing the game already! > Start the program "Game" which appears like a big, jagged circle and is very s mall in size. If you get an error message and it asks you for a serial number, that means you're clicking in the wrong place and are actually trying to start RPG Maker XP itself and not the game. Also, Windows VISTA may have problems running the game. If this is the case for you, your best bet would be to try and play the game in Compatible Mode instead. If you're trying to play the game with MAC/Linux, check the bottom of this FAQ. There you go, the game is launched! Good luck! _________________________________________________ Game Controls _________________________________________________ Direction arrows - Move your character, scroll through options and choices. Open System by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clickin g Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking System. 2. Click Advanced System Settings. Administrator permission required If you are prompted for an administrator passw ord or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. 3. Under Performance, click Settings. 4. Click the Data Execution Prevention tab, and then click Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select. 5. Now browse to your game that is not working because of RGSS error msg and clo sing without solution. For example, one problem can be aveyond.exe The issue lays with DEP, which is a security program inherent with later version s of windows, this causes the RGSS player to cock up and not run as it shuts it down thinking it is a virus or otherwise hostile program/exe. changing these settings should fix the issue. _________________________________________________
